Chapter 33: Water Fountain

"Oh Hey! I didn't think you were going to come." Y/N says as she tries to wave the steam towards her to cover her breasts. She turns around facing towards a wall

Hawks giggles at her as he hops in the water, "I decided to come and relieve some stress." He puts his arms on the edge as he leans back, "Holy! This water feels amazing."

"His abs...are..." Y/N thinks

"Like what you see?" Hawks teases

Y/N looks up at him feeling embarrassed for Hawks catching her staring

"Where is Kamui?" Hawks asks leaning his head back to look up at the stars

"He had to meet with a colleague." Y/N says, "which I'm glad because I did want to be alone."

"Oh I'm sorry I can leave." Hawks says

"No I mean I didn't want to be here with just him." Y/N says, "that's why I invited you. So I'm glad you came. Even if it was to see me naked" Y/N teases

Hawks laughs as he slightly opens his eyes to look at her.

"How did you feel after training?" Hawks says

"Sore. I got a couple bruises thanks to you." Y/N says with a smile

Y/N turns to see what Hawks was looking at in the sky, Hawks sees a big bruise on the back of her shoulder

"Did I do this to you? Hawks asks as he floats closer to her touching her shoulder.

Y/N winces, "It's fine, it'll be gone in a couple of days"

Hawks brushes the back of his fingers across her shoulder giving her goosebumps. She faces her head towards him both looking up at each other.

"This feeling...is so familiar." Y/N thinks as they stare into each other's eyes

Y/N moves back into the corner of the onsen, creating space between them.

"Want to play 21 questions?" Y/N asks

"Let's do it." Hawks says eagerly

"What happened when the Hero Commission took us in?" Y/n asks starting the game

"They trained us almost everyday and taught us how to master the art of infiltration and deception." Hawks says

"Oof, child spies." Y/N says regretting that question. "Since the Hero Commission is temporarily shut down, do you feel a sense of freedom?"

"Strangely, I do." Hawks says, "Normally we wait for orders from them but it's been a couple weeks now and I enjoy it."

"How long were we together before...ya know?'

"We moved kind of fast." Hawks says with his hand behind his head, "We were together a month and ½. Decided to move in maybe a week after we dated."

Y/N laughs, "Hey if you know, you know! I'm sure we wanted to make up for lost time!."

Hawks smiles at her comment

"I saw in an old paper that they called you a playboy, Why is that?"

"I'll be honest, people always would assume if I teamed up with a female pro hero, we were sleeping together." Hawks says

"And were you?"

Hawks eyes widened as he was not expecting that question.

"Maybe once or twice."

"So they weren't assuming anything!" Y/n teases splashing water towards him

Hawks splashes her back closing the distance between them, he grabs her hands.
