▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
as soon as everyone got back from the tour, geryon told them all to help him decorate for some strange reason.
they all helped but very hesitantly, well annabeth took it seriously and kept bossing around [name] who was lazily doing nothing.
but sadly after, geryon commanded eurytion to tie them all up.
"you fucking —" annabeth covered the other girls mouth before she could continue ; leaving them to sit in silent as geryon cooked for himself with a satisfied smile on his face.
but soon, they heard heavy steps with percy coming up the steps with worried sea green eyes and sweat dripping down his forehead.
percy looked around and made eye contact with annabeth, heaving a sigh before his eyes moved to [name] next.
the black haired boy made a move to run over but then he met eyes with geryon who was flipping burgers on a huge barbecue cooker made from an oil drum.
eurytion was lounged at a picnic table, picking his fingernails with a knife with his two—headed dog sniffing the ribs and burgers that were frying on the grill.
"let them go!" percy demanded, still out of breath from running all the way over. "i cleaned the stables just like i said i would."
geryon fully turned. he wore an stupid apron on each chest, with one word on each, so together they spelled out: kiss – the – chef. "did you now? how'd you manage it?"
percy seemed pretty impatient, but he still told him.
geryon nodded appreciatively. "very ingenious. it would've been better if you'd poisoned that pesky naiad, but no matter."
"let my friends go," percy spat out roughly. "we had a deal."
"ah, i've been thinking about that. the problem is, if i let them go, i don't get paid."
"you promised!"
geryon made a tsk~tsk noise. "but did you make me swear on the river styx? no you didn't. so it's not binding. when you're conducting business, sonny, you should always get a binding oath."
percy drew his sword—orthus growled—one head leaning down next to [name]'s ear as it bared its fangs.
[name] quickly backed her head at the ordeal and leaned on annabeth who let her while staring at the dog with a hard glare.
"eurytion," geryon said, "the boy is starting to annoy me. kill him."
