travis sipped at his orange juice and placed it down on the table, face twisted into a frown that was unusual on the teen. "chiron called for an emergency meeting after breakfast. multiple people are saying that it's about an invasion and luke—"

he stopped his sentence when he mentioned luke, forgetting about his and [name]'s close friendship. well ... used to be close friendship.

"oh? wow that seems serious." but [name]'s expression stayed the same as she wiped the milk off her chin.

"yeah..."

[name] looked around and noticed chiron standing up and walking away towards the sword arena. then, multiple people stood up and started to follow him, including percy jackson and annabeth chase that walked with each other.

the blonde haired girl sat on the dock with her friend group; some kids were from her cabin while others were from demeter and apollo, [name] was the closest to those two cabins as they share the same activity cycle.

they all laughed and messed around, passing a joint that one of the kids managed to sneak in the camp, something that was actually quite easy to do once you realize the camp really doesn't care all that much about drugs if you still are able to fight properly.

"bro, yesterday one of the pegasus literally threw me off their back and i was falling through the air! it was so fucking scary but luckily we were above water so i was fine but i have bruises over my back from the impact!" a guy named august pierce explained while rubbing his back, a stupid grin adoring his tanned face.

a few gasp were heard but [name] laughed out loud, getting handed the joint that she's been looking forward to throughout the whole time she's been there. "you deserve that for what you did to me during sword training!"

august gasped dramatically and placed a hand on his chest. "wow. so you wanted me to die? im hurt!"

the group of half bloods laughed at the boy as [name] took a long hit from the joint just before heavy footsteps were heard coming to them.
