After 30 minutes, Peggy had woken up from her little power nap. They had been at their station. She yawned slightly while sitting up and looking around. "Where are we?" She asked while John let out a small chuckle, "Our train stops, silly." He said while helping Peggy up, Peggy nodded as they got off of the train. She hummed a bit while looking around, going to go walk up the stairs, John followed while looking at Peggy, having a small smile on his face. As they got up the steps, Peggy waited for John while smiling a little. John made it up with her, as they walked to the bookstore, walking in while Peggy looked around. She's been here many times. She smiled a bit before walking over to the novels section. Letting out a small hum as she looked around, looking at a few of the books as John walked over.
"Do you like novels?" He asked while humming softly and looking around the aisle. Peggy nodded while looking still. "Yeah! I like romance ones especially." She added while looking still. John nodded while blushing softly. "I see.." He said while humming softly. Peggy nodded while smiling a bit and looking at him. Grabbing a novel and starting to read it, sitting down onto the floor, humming softly while John sat next to her. "I think I've seen that before, it's made me think of you." He said while Peggy blushed slightly. "Oh! That's sweet of you." She said while smiling softly and chuckling while looking at John, John smiled while nodding, "No biggie." He said while smiling still and wrapping an arm around her. Peggy kept reading the book, leaning her body onto John, smiling softly and reading still. Finishing up the 1st chapter after 15 minutes. She closed the book and nodded. "I'm gonna get this one." She said, getting up and smiling still. John nods in agreement, "Okay! It's all on me. I have a membership here.." He laughed a little bit and smiled at the girl, walking around the aisle. Peggy follows him and looks around still. "Are you gonna get anything?" She asked, John nodded. "Yeah, there's this one book I've been wanting for a while." He said and went into the mystery aisle. Peggy followed.
"You like mystery?" She asked while looking still, John nodded and let out a small chuckle, "Yeah, it grew on me after my mom watched the Hallmark channel. Mystery, Christmas movie, Mystery, Christmas movie.." He said as Peggy let out a small giggle. "Aw!" She added while John huffed a bit, "Those mysteries were actually good.." He said before grabbing the book he wanted. "This one!! I've read 3 chapters of it at the library in school, I couldn't help myself!" He said and smiled while Peggy chuckled a bit. "That's nice."
John loved how this date was going already, nothing could go wrong!
He was with his crush, so.. He was happy everything was going well at this point.
