It was time! John had taken a deep breath. Sighing while grabbing some flowers he had for Peggy, they were yellow. Sunflowers. John had started walking over to dorm 225, Peggy and Eliza's dorm. He loved hanging around there, but this time.. He hadn't been hanging, he had been taking Peggy out on a date. He took a deep breath before reaching 225. He sighed a bit and mumbled to himself.. "You got this, John." He said while knocking on the dorm door. Peggy had heard the three little knocks, and got up, heading to open the door before seeing John. She waved and smiled a bit, "Hi there!!" She said, kneeling down to finish lacing up her yellow converse. As she stood up and chuckled. "Are you ready to go?" Peggy asked, grabbing her mini bookbag and smiling as she looked at him. John nodded, looking at her outfit and smiling. "You look very cute." He said while Peggy nodded and smiled. "Thank you!" She said and chuckled while waving to Eliza, walking out of the dorm and holding John's hand. "So.. Where are we going?" Peggy asked, John let out a small chuckle while looking at Peggy. "We're going on the subway first!! That's the fastest way to the library. Alex is borrowing my car, he's taking your sister out on a date after us." He said and laughed a bit.

Peggy nodded while leaning her head onto his shoulder. "Okay!!! That seems fun, I haven't been on the subway in a while.." She said, looking at him and laughing while holding his hand, they left campus. Starting to walk to the subway with John. John looked at her and smiled a little, squeezing her hand a bit and chuckling. "I like your shoes. I think I got you those for Christmas." He added while Peggy nodded, "You did! They are a bit dirty though, so excuse that." She said while laughing a little and rubbing the back of her neck. Smiling when John smiled back at her. "It's okay, converse get dirty." He said and laughed a little. "My old pair is a bit worn out... I do need some new ones." He added, as they walked down the steps to the subway. Peggy smiled softly and nodded. "Ohhh.. That's not too good." She said, while John nodded and laughed while they waited for the next subway. They sat on a bench while John played games on his phone. Peggy just sat and waited. Once the train arrived, they got on. Peggy had sat next to John while leaning her head onto his shoulder and closing her eyes. Starting to fall asleep, John took notice of this... Looking down at her and smiling softly. Leaning over to give her a kiss on the forehead. Wrapping his arm around her.

He was so happy to be going on a date with his crush, he was determined he could confess.
