A shocked professor and a calm headmaster watched as a blue alien flew away from them as fast as it could before vanishing from their lines of sight. Though the fog was clearing up, it was still tough to see our hero for long. "What should we do about this professor?" The female professor asked as a soft smile grew on the silver haired males face.
"Think you can make the shot?" A questioning Ruby asked as the heiress smirked, holding her posture calmly aiming as precisely as she could.
"Hmph. Can I?" The snow princess smirked as she replied sarcastically, though before further exchange could proceed the giant bird Grimm they were fighting cried out summoning tons of smaller bird grimms, the creatures guarding the gargantuan Grimm.
"...How about now?" Ruby asked panicking slightly as Weiss took a deep breath.
"With all these Grimm in the way its at a 99% chance to fail." Weiss Schnee glared as she looked at the flock carefully, though as to increase the chance ten of the smaller grimm were frozen solid and plummeted to the pits of the canyon beneath them, Big Chill appearing in front of the duo facing away from the two females.
"Need a hand?" The alien asked as Ruby grinned.
"Yeah, we need a straight line to the big bird." Ruby explained.
"Got it, ill create a window of opportunity shout when you're firing." Big chill replied.
"Don't give me orders like that." Weiss snapped back as the Necrofiggan ignored the Heiress looking down at the symbol on his chest.
"Might as well test this out now." Big Chill spoke to himself as he pressed the symbol, his skin turning into a fiery orange, his wings setting ablaze as the air got colder around him "Ultimate Big Chill!" Big Chill explained as he charged at the bird grimm, freezing more than half of the remaining small fry.
"Now do it!" Big chill exclaimed as Weiss snapped back.
"You'll be in the way if I do it now!" Weiss responded.
"Just do it Weiss, trust Ben." Ruby softly spoke, her future partner hating the idea of accidentally hitting him...but she reluctantly did so sending Ruby flying forward.
As the Scythe user flew forward Ultimate Big Chill froze the remaining bird grimm and the split second before they made contact he turned intangible leaving Ruby to take out the Bird Grimm, separating its head from its body. As Big Chill landed in front of Weiss and turned back to Ben the humans still on the ground turned to the top of the giant cliff showing a victorious Ruby standing proudly, rose petals scattering through the wind as she did so.
"What the hell did you just do to dodge that?" Weiss asked, standing shocked looking at me.
"Big Chill can turn intangible, no big deal." He chuckled as Weiss shook her head.
"THATS A VERY BIG DEAL!" Weiss shouted back, the black haired girl putting a hand up to her bow as the heiress did so.
"Semblances can do weird things so its no big deal," The same Black haired girl spoke before I turned to face the woman who previously kicked me off a plane, holding a hand out "Blake Belladonna." She introduced as I shook her head.
"Ben Tennyson, I look forward to studying with you." I introduced.
"Hey guys, not to spoil the introduction but Ruby is waiting for us we shouldn't keep her waiting," Yang spoke up "and knowing my little sis, she will most likely run off without us soon." Yang joked as the trio of girls started making their way to Ruby.
"Those four will go far." I thought to myself as I turned into Diamond head as I scaled the cliff, using his crystals to support me as I did so.
"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR, lead by Jaune Arc!" Ozpin spoke proudly as the stunned blonde man looked shocked.
"L-lead by?" He responded in disbelief.
"Congratulations, young man." Ozpin said, as Pyrrha Nikos went to punch Jaune on the shoulder making Jaune fall to the floor.
"And finally Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the White Knight Pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY, lead by Ruby Rose." Ozpin spoke proudly, once again.
Throughout the hall a round of applause and cheers erupted to congratulate the students who managed to pass the test, but one individual was left standing in solitude. He was happy his new friends managed to get in...but Ben Tennyson didn't make the list...
He didn't pass the test.
