A message from the Void

As Ben slowly moved his tray along the Cafeteria line, picking what he wanted before turning around looking for somewhere to sit. He couldn't see CVFY though he could see Team RWBY and JNPR sitting at a long table, Pyrrha Nikos waving me over as I approached. "Evening guys." I smiled, sitting at an open spot at the end of the table before looking over to Team JNPR.
"I don't believe you've been properly introduced." Pyrrha spoke with class in her voice.
"I don't think we have, Lie Ren." The formal man introduced as the Blonde man was the next to speak up.
"Jaune Arc." He then introduced as I recognised him as the infamous 'Vomit Boy', Cardin had also been bullying him, something I found from my own research.
"AND I'M NORA VALKYRIE," The hyperactive Nora approached as she planted her face an inch away from my watch "So how does this work, how many creatures can you turn into, can you turn into Grimm- no wait can you turn into me?!" She asked quickly as I moved slightly over my seat, feeling a bit uncomfortable from all this attention.
"Umm I don't know, apparently a million, no and no." I quickly responded as Lie Ren tugged on the hem of Nora's blazer.
"We can ask him questions whenever Nora." Ren spoke in his usual soft voice.
"Thank you," I sighed in relief "I'm Ben, Ben Tennyson nice to formally meet you three." I smiled.
"So Ben, how long have you been using the watch for?" Jaune asked as I chuckled.
"Since I was Ten, was camping one night with my Grandpa and Cousin Gwen when a meteor crashed next to me. Inside was the watch." I smiled with fondness.
"Since you were ten, isn't that a lot of power for a kid?" Blake asked as I nodded.
"Completely but I had Grandpa Max and Gwen with me, they helped me down the right path." I smiled.
"Family always does set you down the right path." Weiss smirked, earning a glare from Blake though it was a brief one.
"Not always, I met tons of people who had the potential to be good but weren't due to their family ties. One of my old enemies Hex had a niece called Charmcaster, if it weren't for Hex I could see her being a really good hero." I smiled.
"The implication there suggests you have multiple 'old enemies', right?" Pyrrha asked and I nodded.
"Oh yeah, every day I had to use the watch to help people. Be it from a mad scientist trying to revert the world back to the stone age or one of my old aliens turned against me." I explained as Ruby looked at me with sparkles in her eyes.
"So you're like a superhero!" She exclaimed as I nodded.
"Yeah exactly, even had a cool hero name for if people ever found out about me." I smiled as Ruby, Yang, Nora and Jaune looked in anticipation for the name.
In response to this I jumped up from my seat, ran to the end of the table and held the Ultimatrix up high with my fist clenched "Ben 10!" I exclaimed as the four intrigued people immediately looked down in disappointment.
"Why Ben 10?" Pyrrha asked out of courtesy, though I could see the disappointment in her eyes too.
"Originally I only had 10 aliens and also my last name is TENnyson so Ben 10 made sense." I sighed returning to my seat as I took a sip of my Bacon and Egg smoothie that I got custom made, much to the disgust of the canteen lady.
"Oh I get it!" Yang understood the joke there as I chuckled.
"Yeah it's not the best of names...but it's mine." I smiled.
"So what other aliens can you turn into?" Nora excitedly asked as I activated the watch's HUD and held out my watch to the centre of the table as a hologram of Lodestar appeared.
"Well I can only turn into twelve at the moment, apparently there is a lock on most of the aliens." I explained as I turned the dial and the hologram of Lodestar changed to that of Four Arms.
"Ben, I want to arm wrestle that one." Yang demanded, though not before switching aliens, this time to what looked like a big tiger.
"Huh this one's new." I said in shock as everyone looked in closer at the Tiger who was standing on two legs, with sharp claws coming out of his knuckles.
"A cat?" Weiss asked as Blake looked at the hologram sternly, then to my face.
"I guess so." I simply replied before putting the watch away.
"You're not going to try out the alien?" Ruby asked, seemingly excited for seeing the alien.
"Nah, It'd cause chaos if I used my aliens in public- especially in the canteen," I shrugged as I started to eat my Chilli Fries when someone with a bandaged head walked in and my eyes grew more stern "What happened to him?" I asked.
"Apparently he and his team was attacked by an intruder, how someone got into here in the first place surprises me." Blake spoke up as Cardin then made eye contact with me and started approaching, to which I got my watch ready in case of anything.
"You, Tennyson, I have a message for you." He scowled as he then took a deep breath.
"Oh, who is it from?" I asked cautiously.
"Some guy with black hair in a black top, he said 'You'll pay for sending me to the null void Tennyson'." Cardin said before leaving me.
"The Null Void...someone else from my universe is here." I said to myself in shock.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Weiss asked as I shook my head, my face paling.
"No, they said about the Null Void and the only people we trapped in there were enemies. It was like a prison for galactic threats." I explained as the Heiress' face paled like mine.
"So a bad guy has made it to remnant- broke into Beacon, b-but who could do that?" Jaune arc asked as I let out a sigh.
"There is two people I directly sent to the Null Void as a kid. The first was an Ex-Plumber named Phil." I started talking as Nora put her hand into the air.
"What do plumbers have to do with this, was he a super villain who tried flooding the world in sewage water?" Nora asked, her imagination getting ahead of him.
"Oh they were intergalactic police, the name came from cleaning up the trash of the universe- anyways he was pretty old when we trapped him in the Null Void and I doubt he would have the physical abilities to successfully escape Beacon on his old...That leaves one of my more dangerous enemies, Kevin Leven." I said, even saying his name sent memories flooding through my mind.
"So you're Ben TENnyson...and one of your dangerous enemies was Keven ELEVEN?" Yang asked as I nodded.
"Yeah that sums it up." I sighed as I took out my scroll and put a reminder to talk to Azmuth about Kevin, though Yang looked over my shoulder.
"Who's Azmuth?" Yang asked as I shuddered not ready for this discussion.
"Oh a uhh pen pal Professor Port recommended me to help me get used to this world-" I quickly lied on the spot, earning a glance from Blake, Weiss, Ren and Pyrrha.
"You can always ask us Ben if you have any questions." Ruby smiled as I smiled back.
"Thanks Rubes, there is one thing actually. Why do so many people hate Faunus?" I asked as the table went silent, the only sound coming from the people bustling in the background.
"Its...a sensitive subject, there is a common misconception that Fauni are lesser beings and that's it...It's just a superiority complex." Blake spoke up as I looked at her with a sad look.
"Oh...it's kind of sad that." I replied as I could only imagine the things Velvet went through, throughout her life.
"Though the White Fang doesn't help their reputation, Fauni are usually super kind in my experience." Pyrrha spoke up.
"Unfortunately we don't all have the same experience." Weiss sighed, putting her hand in her palm.
"Well...the Fauni I have met so far have been very kind people." I spoke up sensing the sensitive subject.
"yeah the Faunus here are very nice!" Ruby spoke up as I smiled.
"Anyways have you guys heard, the Vytal Festival is being held at Beacon this year?" Nora asked excitedly as our conversation faded off whilst we ate our food.
