Just 2 months ago, Demi split from the guy she thought was her forever.
Demi first met Odell Beckham Jr after her concert in Las Vegas, it was just a one night stand between them but it turned into an agreement.
"Baby, you look beautiful" I bit down on my lip as I continued to stare at my reflection in the mirror, internally picking apart everything about it. I still haven't lost the weight I put on last year and I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me at all. "What's up?" he questioned as I released a breath.
"I just feel fat, that's all" he pressed his hands to my hips and then turned me to face him.
"You ain't fat, Demi, and I never wanna hear you say that" he pressed his thumb against my lips. "You thick and I like my women thick" my eyebrows raised as I stared up at him.
"Women, huh?"
"Woman" Odell's lips twitched into an innocent smile. "I like my woman thick" I rolled my eyes as I turned back around to face the mirror. "I love you" he softly spoke as he pressed his lips to my ear. My heart melted at those three little words but it jumped at the sound of his doorbell. I met Odell's gaze in the mirror, my eyes were wide with panic. "She's gonna love you, Baby. I promise, you ain't got no reason to worry" he pressed a final kiss to my cheek and then slid his hand down my arm to link our fingers together. I allowed Odell to tug me towards his front door. My stomach was full of butterflies. Meeting Odell's Mom could either solidify or ruin our future.
"Baby Boy" Heather cooed the instant Odell pulled open the front door. I bit down on my lip and took a step away from him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. His hand though remained tight on mine and he continued to lightly caress the back of it with his thumb.
"Hi Mom" he pressed a soft kiss to her cheek as she pulled away from the hug. "Mom, this is..."
"I know who she is, Odell" my heart stopped for a moment as her eyes met mine. "It's lovely to meet you, Sweetheart. I'm Heather" her lips formed into a smile that instantly put me at ease. "Is it okay if I give you a hug?"
"Yeah, that's fine" she stepped up to wrap her arms around me. Odell stood behind his Mom, his lips tugged into a smirk as he met my gaze. I rolled my eyes as my cheeks flushed.
Heather is so sweet and loving. I actually can't believe I was afraid to meet her. We had a laugh and she showed me baby photos of Odell that she'd decided to bring over. He wasn't all that impressed but I kinda enjoyed teasing him about them.

I spent the next few days with Odell and flew back to LA on the Thursday. After saying 'I love you', saying 'goodbye' was a lot fucking harder. It actually felt like I was leaving a part of my heart in New York. It took everything I had to not cry on the flight home. I already fucking miss him.

It is rumoured that the couple have been together since Lovato completed her rehab stint in November. A spokesperson for the couple states that 'the relationship is healthy and they're both very happy.'
On March 13th, it was announced that Odell would transfer to the Cleveland Browns.
"I suppose it's a little closer than New York" Odell's lips twitched into a sad sort of smile. I glanced down at my lap as I played with the tassel on my sweatpants.
"Demi..."
"It's fine" I forced myself to smile but with the way that Odell's eyebrows raised, it told me that he knew my smile wasn't genuine. "This long distance thing sucks so much. I miss you so fucking much" tears burnt at the back of my eyes.
"I miss you too, Baby. I could fly down to LA and spend a couple weeks with you. I ain't got much else to do and it can get boring around here on my own" he took a look around his apartment and then glanced into the phone with a smile.
"You'd do that?"
"If I get to spend time with you then yeah."
"I love you" my heart warmed as his smile grew. My 2016 self wouldn't believe that Odell and I had fallen in love with each other. She never believed it would be possible.
Odell ended up flying into LA just a week later. I jumped on him the instant I pulled open my apartment door. He didn't even have the time to pull his luggage inside before I was attacking him with heated kisses.
"I've missed you" I mumbled as I nuzzled my face into his neck. "You're wearing the cologne I like" he deeply laughed as I pressed a soft kiss to the nape of his neck. "You smell fucking good" I took a step away from him and slid my hands down his chest to the waistband of his sweatpants.
"Baby, can I get my luggage in before we do that" I rolled my eyes and released a huff as if inconvenienced.
"Hurry up."
"You so dramatic, Baby" he spoke through a laugh as he turned to grab his luggage. He had brought two large suitcases and a duffel bag. "You happy if I stay for a while?"
"I don't fucking care how long you stay" his lips twitched into a smile as he closed my front door. "Can we fuck now?" I bit down on my lip as our eyes met. His lips curled into a smirk as he tugged his shirt up his body and removed it. I stepped up to him and delicately slid my fingers along his abs, smiling widely at the way his body seemed to shiver at my touch. I glanced up at him and slid my tongue along my lip as I hooked my fingers around the waistband of his sweatpants.
