Demi

I was awake and pacing at 6am. Butterflies were flapping around in my stomach and they wouldn't stop. I placed my hand over my chest and began to take some deep breaths.

"Morning Baby" I jumped at the voice and turned to my Mom who stepped into the room wearing a light smile which dropped the moment that I turned to face her. "What's wrong, Honey?" I tried to calm my rapid breathing.

"I'm nervous and it-it isn't because I don't want to marry him. I just want everything to go right" her lips twitched once again into a smile as she leant to kiss my cheek.

"Nerves are normal, Baby" she softly caressed my cheek. "How about we get some breakfast sorted?"

Everyone else started to come down one by one over the next hour. I wasn't really able to stomach much breakfast due to the butterflies flapping around so I just settled on some toast.

My bridesmaids were all pampered by Jill and Caesar and made ready first. Seeing them all in their dresses made me emotional. All the crazy planning and it's finally today. I'm finally going to say 'I do.' I'd hired Angelo as my wedding photographer so there was a constant flashing of a camera but I know I'll be thankful for the memories.

"You all look so beautiful" the first person I hugged was Madison. "And it really is such a nice blue."

"I'm glad because it's a bit late to change it, Demi" I rolled my eyes as I glanced to Dallas, leaning over to hug her too.

"You ready to get glammed, Demi?" I nodded over at Jill, wiping away the tear that rolled down my cheek.

Once my hair and makeup was done, Jill and Caesar helped me get into my dress. The moment I glanced at myself in the mirror, tears welled up in my eyes.

"Don't cry" I laughed as Jill began to fan me with her hands. "You look beautiful, Honey" Caesar nodded his agreement.

"I feel it" I did a little twirl causing Jill and Caesar to laugh. I gave them both hugs and then headed back into the main room where everyone was anxiously waiting. There was a gasp as I stepped into the room and I glanced up at my Mom who had her hands clasped over her mouth.

"Oh Baby, you look beautiful" I had to bite the inside of my cheek to stop myself from crying also.

"Honey, I have something I wanna give you" I glanced to Heather who was stood beside my Mom. She rummaged around in her purse and pulled out a black box. "This was my Mother's and my grandmother's before that. Odell and his Mimi used to be so close" she walked towards me, slowly opening the box. "It's just been sat in my drawer and I thought it could be your something borrowed. Odell's my only baby and I vowed to keep it going through the generations. You can give it to your daughter or son in the future" my jaw dropped at the bracelet inside the box.

"Wow, Heather

"Wow, Heather. It's gorgeous, but are you sure?"

"Demi, you're family. You're my daughter" tears lined my bottom lid but I blinked to push them back. I held out my wrist so that she could clasp it on. "Beautiful" my smile widened as she leant to press a soft kiss to my cheek.
