Chapter 16. Awkward Situation

Kinsley

I'm standing in front of his door deciding if I should knock or not. I don't want to bother him that's for sure. Before I could even decide if I should knock or not the door opened.

"Kinsley I was just about to come and get you are you hungry?"

He smiled at me making my heart flutter. Just on que my stomach growled.

"I'll take that as a yes follow me to the kitchen."

As he walked past me I couldn't help but feel the tingles when our shoulder's touched. I followed him down stairs and there was people watching t.v. in the living room. He walked to the fridge getting ingredients out. I jumped on the counter top and patiently waited for food.

"What do you want to eat?"
"Doesn't matter just something."
"Just something coming right up."
"You can cook?"

He smiled at me and walked in between my legs and whispered in my ear.

"Best believe it babe."

I shivered as his hot breath fanned my ear. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me and I burried my face in his neck. I don't know why I did it, it was just a instinct. I could fell the butterflies erupting in my stomach what's going on with me? why am I reacting like this? I'm really hungry yeah that's it I'm really hungry.

"Ummm Bradley if I don't get food in me soon I'm gonna die."

He laughed and let me go I looked into his light brown eyes. What is it about him that's driving me crazy? Why does my body yearn for him? And most of all why am I starting to feel like this?

"Do you like omelettes?"
"No I never had one."
"Well your gonna love it."

He got out a big bowl and started cracking the eggs in there and then whisking it. He's a werewolf and I'm basically human how is this even gonna work? I'm still not really sure how this mate thing works. What if I get tired of him or something.

"Can I ask you a question about a werewolf thing."

He looked at me confused then turned back to whisking the eggs.

"Yeah sure."

"What's a mating process? my parents told me to ask you instead."

I saw his back tense and he walked over to me.

"Are you sure you want know what the mating process is."

I nodded not trusting my voice.

"The mating process is I put my mark on you right here-"

He moved my hair behind my back and pulled my shirt over my shoulder and kissed it. My breath hitched and I looked into his eyes they held amusement and love in them could it be? Does he love me already?

"I bite into your neck and give you some of my saliva and after that when your ready we complete the mating process by having sex bonding us for life."

I looked at him wide eyed.

SEX WE HAVE TO HAVE SEX! I WAS NO WHERE NEAR READY FOR THAT!!

"I have to use the bathroom." I blurted out

He shook his head and chuckled. I slipped off the counter and quickly ran up stairs into his bathroom. I splashed water on my face come on get it together Kinsley he's just some guy that your living with.

'He's not just some guy he our mate.'

I looked around okay I'm going crazy I could have sworn I heard a voice.

'Your not going crazy it's me your wolf'
"But I thought I didn't have a wolf?"
'Would you stop talking out loud just talk inside your head!'
'Ok.'
'Well I don't know why or how I'm here.'

I wipped the sweat off my forehead when did it get so hot in here? my arm started to twist and bend. I held back a scream and fell on the floor I could feel the tears streaming down my face what's going on? I could feel my leg bend in the wrong way and I couldn't hold it anymore I let out a blood-curdling scream. Every where on my body felt like it was on fire the bathroom door busted open and Bradley picked me up and ran down stairs.
