Chapter 13. Are You Serious Pt.2

I shot straight up as the cold water hit my body. My mom gave me a sad look and I sat there in disbelief.

"Mom your a wolf too?" I asked.

"Yes"

"So if you're a wolf, and he's a wolf, am I wolf?"

"Not exactly"

What?

"I don't understand."

"Well remember when you were fifteen and going though those tough times"

I nodded.

"Well we contacted a witch an-"

"Wait hold up witches are real too?"

"Yes so are vampires, hybrids and lycanthropy etc..."

"So basically you guys lied to me my whole life!" I yelled.

"We only did what's best for you!"

My mom started crying but I didn't care at this moment.

"So how come I'm not a werewolf again."

"Like I was saying we contacted a witch to help us out she took your wolf away. Your basically human with a little wolf in you because you still have highly sentive hearing and smelling. If you want to become one of us all you have to do drink something that the witch gave us"

I just nodded.

"So what do you wanna know."

"Everything." I said simply.

"Many century's ago a witch put a spell on some families and left the other half humans so there was a population of humans and werewolf's. They reproduced by having mates, I will explain what that is in a minute. Their children had children and their children had children ect.. ect.. The werewolf council controls the setup and lifestyles of the pack as well as the individuals who have been chosen to fill them. They also punish the wolf's who don't follow the rules. A pack is a group of werewolves that have at least up to five- hundred people or more in a pack. The Moon Goddess helped to by creating Alpha's and Beta's and Mate's. An Alpha is a powerful male that protects the pack like a family they show him a lot of respect. He has a Luna and she's like the pack mother, she cooks, cleans and is a kind and caring person. A Beta is that if the Alpha were to die or get hurt he would take over the pack if the Alpha didn't have a son or daughter. Rouges are wolves that you don't wanna run into. They don't want to be in a pack or they get banished by their Alpha understand?"

"What's a moon goddess?"

"She's like the god of werewolf."

I nodded taking in all the information about what I just heard.

"Honey go get it." My dad said.

My mom looked at him confused and then scurried upstairs.

"Dad what's a mate?"
"I will tell you but we have to wait for your mother."

I feel like this mate thing I'm not gonna like so much. I just don't know how I could be a half wolf it's just weird. I thought that wolves and witches were a myth this is insane! and unreal. My mom came down stairs with something in her hand and set it down on the coffee table.

"What's that?"

"That my dear is your wolf."

"What?"

"If you want to be like us all you have to do is drink it. You don't have to decide right now but after you turn nineteen your wolf will be gone forever."

"Okay I got it."

"Your not mad at us are you?"

"No, I understand I probably would have done the same for my child you guys were looking out for me that's why you guys are great parents."

"Kinsley we need you to be completely honest."

"Okay."

"When you and your mother went the store a few days ago did you run into a guy who was saying weird stuff?"

How did he know about that I haven't even told my mom yet.

"Yes dad I ran into a guy at the store while getting my mocha Starbucks crap. He was saying I was his mate which creeped me out but the weird thing is that I can't stop thinking about him. For that split second I was in his arms it felt so right." I said with a sigh.

"Honey a mate is person who you have an immediate connection the moment you meet. A connection so strong that you are drawn to them in a way you have never experienced before. You will know their your mate when you feel the tingles spread through your body and when you look in their eyes it feels like you two are the only one's in the world. As this connection deepens over time you experience a love so deep and strong you guys would be bonded for life after the mating process is complete"

"What's the mating process?"

"You need to ask your mate that."

"You mean him?"

"Yes."

It's weird to think that a random person you met at the store is a person you're going to be bonded together for life.

"But after all that there still more."

"Well out with it old man."

"Honey don't look at it as if you found a mate and that were kicking you out you could stay here forever and we wouldn't mind."

"Your scaring me! stop beating around the bush and get to the point!"

"Your mate is coming here at six to get you and your belongings"

I stood up.

"What! and your just gonna let that man take me!!"

"If we could have said no we would have but he said that if we don't give you to him that there will be a problem and who knows what he ment by that!" My Dad said.

Well what if I run away maybe he will leave my parents alone and let me be free... Yeah that's a stupid idea he will probably think that they put me into hiding or something.

"So I have to do what?"

"Start packing your clothes."

I grabbed the small bottle and walked up stairs to my room. I got out my suitcases from under my bed and stated filling them up with clothes. I know what your thinking why am I going freely instead of causin a ruckus if it means that my parents are safe then I would do anything to protect them.
