When Kinsley was coming down the steps she looked absolutely stunning I'm so glad that she's all mine nobody and I mean nobody will touch her!
"You look gorgeous tonight," I said.
"You don't look so bad yourself."
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, let's go."
She looked up at me with those beautiful, big eyes of hers, and my heart skipped a beat. We walked out to the car, and I opened the door for her, letting her slip inside. I shut the door behind her, then jogged around to my side and got in. We pulled out of the driveway and headed toward the restaurant, The excitement in the air mixed with a hint of nervousness, looming over us like a quiet tension.
"Where are we going?"
I entwined our hands and smiled.
"It's a surprise," I said, throwing a wink her way.
Kinsley
He was wearing a black suit with a black bow tie, and damn, he looked like a hot nerd. The kind of guy who could make a suit look effortlessly sharp while still having that geeky charm that made him even more irresistible. The way the suit fits him perfectly, showing off his toned build, made my heart race.
"So tell me something about yourself?"
"Like what?" I said.
"Anything."
"I like to watch horror movies" He looked at me shocked, like he wasn't expecting that answer.
"Like what?"
"The boy, paranormal activity and the Conjuring."
"I liked the boy it had a major plot twist."
"It really did!"
"What else?"
"I like to read, go camping, and hike. I'm the adventurous type."
The car fell silent, and my mind couldn't help but wonder. Give us a room, a little chocolate, and it's on. I imagined the way his body would feel beneath my fingertips, the way I'd trace every inch of his abs before—
"Kinsley. Stop. Thinking. Like. that!"
I saw his knuckles turn white around the steering wheel, did I say that out loud? I could feel my cheeks turn deep red.
"I'm sorry," I said.
He put his hand on my leg and squeezed it.
"It's all right-" He looked at me with a devious glint in his eyes."Kinsley, I could take care of your problem if you like." A grin appeared on his face.
"In your dreams pretty boy." I taunted.
I felt his hand move up and up to my destination. So, I grabbed it and put it on his knee.
"Keep your hands to yourself."
"I mean I could but why would I want to."
I busted up laughing as he sang a Selena Gomez song, totally off-key but giving it his all. His voice wasn't exactly perfect, but the way he was so into it made it even funnier. He pulled into a parking spot and looked at me.
"We're here."
He got out and opened the door, and I looked up to see we were at Beaujolais. I'd heard the food was amazing here. He opened the door for me, and I muttered a quiet, "Thank you." He smiled, then walked around to open the other door for me, and I gave another soft, "Thank you."
