~To Be Together~

*An hour before the meet*

“So where is he taking you?” Khun Krit asked his son.

“Last night, I asked if he could show me around the Lanna temple ruins. I guess we'll be there for the whole day.” Zee answered his father.

Khun Krit looked upon his son with a smile. Last night, he noticed how his son’s demeanour changed when New walked to the table. He had an instinct feeling that his son would have a good relationship with the future heir of Chiang Mai.

Khun Krit and Zee turned toward the door, as someone knocked on it.

“Come in.” Khun Krit announced.

Kinn walked into the room, bowing before speaking.

“Khun Krit, everything is ready. We have spoken with the security team from Chiang Mai and have devised a plan on today’s outing for Khun Zee and Khun New.” Kinn walked over to the table where Khun Krit was seated with a tablet to show the outline of the plan.

“Ah! Perfect. Kinn, I trust that you will overlook everything and make sure that nothing disturbs Zee and New today.” Khun Krit took the tablet, looking at the layout, as he spoke.

“Yes sir!” Kinn spoke once again, waiting for Khun Krit to finish analysing the plan. Once Khun Krit was satisfied, he handed the tablet back to Kinn.

“Khun Zee, whenever you’re ready, we’ll be outside.” Kinn looked toward Zee as he spoke.

Zee nodded his head, before Kinn walked out the door.

“Have a great time son.” Khun Krit stood up and placed his hand on Zee’s shoulder, giving his blessings.

Zee turned to his father and smiled.

“Thanks dad. I will.” Zee bowed his head before heading for the door.

“Oh, and son.” Zee stopped as his hand was about to reach for the doorknob, turning to look at his father.

“Su su na.” Khun Krit said, with a fist in front of him and a smile, showing his support.

Zee could feel the heat rush to his face, as he realised the meaning to his fathers words. He turned back to the door, but fumbled with the doornob. When he finally got to open the door, he turned back to his father, bowing, and definitely noticing the cheeky grin his father wore.

“Great, he knows.” Zee's mind quickly came to the conclusion. He closed the door, shaking his head with a smile, grateful for his fathers blessing.

Zee looked towards the staircase, when he heard footsteps and felt like his knees were going to give out. His heart on the other hand, had completely given out the moment his eyes landed on New. Zee’s eyes never left the boy as he walked closer to them.

“Sawadee krub Phi Zee” New waied as he came and stood beside Aunty Ja. New’s cheeks were dusted with a light shade of pink, as he felt Zee’s eyes stare at him.

Zee couldn’t help but smile, as he saw how New looked really shy. He cleared his throat, replying to New’s greeting.

“Are you ready Nu?” Zee asked, feeling both giddy and impatient. He wanted to spend today getting to know New.

“Yes, I am krub.” New replied, and Zee felt like he wanted to swoon over New, seeing how cute he was.

“Let’s go then.” Zee offered his hand to New, which the younger grabbed with a shy smile.

With misty eyes, Aunty Ja watched as New walked beside Zee. She could feel the spark between them, seeing as how they couldn’t stop looking at each other. With a smile, she followed behind, watching as Zee opened the door for New, placing his hand on top of New’s head, to prevent him from hitting the door. She stood watching as the entourage moved to the gate, sensing a new love about to begin.

(Porche’s POV)

“Let’s work together and make sure nothing happens today. Our priority is to keep both young masters safe, so let’s make sure they enjoy their time. That’s all.” I heard Kinn speak as he dismissed the team from the briefing.

I looked up at him and he was already making his way to me.

“Khun Porche, are we all good on the plan?” I stood up and nodded to him.

“It’s bullet-proof.” I agreed. He is one of the people that I trust with situations like this. We have an understanding about our work and have been working together for a long time, since I started working for the Perdpiriyawong family.

“Great, let’s move out in 10 minutes.” I felt a tingle as he patted my back, walking out to the hall. He stopped and turned back to me, winking as he bit his lower lip. The man is such a tease and it’s not good for my heart.

I leaned on the wall, trying to calm myself down. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, subsiding the feeling growing below me. Once I regained my composure, I walked into the hall and into the training centre where everyone was.

“Team, fall in.” I commanded.

Everyone rushed forward and stood in a straight line.

“We move out in 10 minutes. Weapon check, then to the vans.”

Between the men of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, we have about 100 men. Of course, these are only the chosen few for today’s mission. We can cover more ground with this number.

I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out of my pocket, already knowing who it was from.

“Are we still meeting tonight?” - Kinn

I smiled as I replied back to him then sticking my phone back into my pocket, I headed for the exit where Pete, Barcode and Jay were standing.

With our team ready, nothing bad can happen today. I put my hands together as I manifested good and positive vibes.
