Mu Qing stepped into the dorm with Crowley behind him, "in here, you shall be protected from the elements." Mu Qing eyed the various cog webs and the overall dusty interior of this dorm. "I should be getting back on my research on where you came from until then you will have to attend school as the first year of Night Raven."
Mu Qing sighed, "so you'll find access to get me back home?" In truth, he wasn't looking forward to it either.
Crowley nodded, "yes, yes! But until then you are to be responsible to uphold the dignity and reputation of the Night Ravens as every student here is expected! Oh, and here's a pen!" Mu Qing was given a pen that had a purple Magestone on it. "Is it a requirement? I don't even have a piece of paper with me..."
"Yes!" Crowley grinned, "All students have a magical pen with them. How magnanimous I am in letting a wayward individual have an opportunity to enter a learning facility before he gets back home, you must be thinking! Do let me know if you come up with a name for the dorm." His face hardened, "Do not stir any trouble or there will be consequences! Farewell, for now, Mu Qing!" He grinned.
Mu Qing rolled his eyes as he left. "Tch! Why does he keep a dorm if it's going to be overlooked like this?" He figured it was best to clean before he rested.
He got some buckets, filled with water (he was surprised the plumbing still worked) and began to mop the floor, he wiped the dusty furniture after standing them up and placing them properly (the chairs that laid on the ground were dusted and wiped). The fireplace was being dusted when he heard a familiar voice, "pah! It's dripping wet in here!"
Mu Qing rolled his eyes as he continued to clean, "aah, Grim! So you've come back."
"It took me a while but I was smart enough to sneak around undetected! And I told you, I am going to prove I am a worthy student of Night Raven!"
Mu Qing gritted his teeth and to calm him, he spoke as he was speaking with a child. "Okay, what makes you think you're qualified to the Night Raven College? And if I can recall some moments before now, the Headmage just informed me that unless you're someone's trained familiar, you can't."
Grim smirked, "I wonder why the school chose you...what, didn't have any better candidates? Did ya get in trouble before you got picked up or something?"
His irritating grin disappeared when a dark look was sent his way, "no idea whatsoever. Nor would I like to be reminded of it, thank you very much. Moreover, you were probably rejected because you weren't showing any ounce of respect or any integrity to the authorities in charge!"
He turned to see Grim who was about to argue. "And you speak of how great you claim to be, but if you only react with rash actions then loss and fallen hopes is where you lead."
"Myaah! What do you know about it?!" Grim glared at him. "Wait did you hear that?" Mu Qing was about retort when he heard something. "What did you hear that?"
"Huh?" Grim looked confused, "hear what?"
Mu Qing could feel their presence. "As the Dark Mirror informed me, this dorm is inhabited by spirits!" He stared at the long stairs that weren't cleaned yet and he climbed up.
He looked down and stopped climbing to see Grim shivering. Mu Qing nodded, "well let's go! Great and Powerful Grim, why not show these ghosts what happens when they incur his wrath."
As he expected, Grim snapped out of it, "of course I am. I'm gonna show I'm even more powerful than you!" He smirked.
Mu Qing resisted using his habit of rolling his eyes, "oooh!" He feigned a regretful face, "This student is in awe of your courage! Do please lead the way!" Not out of encouragement really, but more as a verbal tactic.
