Normally Azul wouldn't allow someone without a sea anemone on their head to come, however, he made an exception with Mu Qing who always put him in awe at whatever he does, if true to what Floyd and Jade mentioned of his domestic skills in cooking and able to work in a breakneck pace. Undoubtedly, he would make an excellent employee.

The thought made Azul smile, devious, unaware Mu Qing was talking to him, "Azul...Azul!" He sighed before he flicked his forehead, making him snap out of whatever fantasy he was having, "didn't you hear me?"

Floyd and Jade were there and chuckled when Mu Qing flicked Azul's forehead. "I said, regarding this contract of yours while you were in your little world, Jade and Floyd said if one does not have a stake here, then they're not to interrupt whatever the manager has in business with."

Azul grinned, "why, correct, however, I am willing to make an exception for you as I was looking forward to having a chat with you. But I'm afraid your friend Jack is not within that range of acceptance."

Jack growled, "you think I don't have a stake here?! I had the plan to study on my efforts and time and fairly outscore these guys. Now it's ruined because of you!"

Mu Qing put a hand on Jack and his hand glowed a pale blue Jack felt his anger disappear, "calm there, but he isn't wrong about it." He turned to the students, "you could've just worked on your own to stimulate the best of your abilities yet you went for the easiest route you thought would help; by half-assing your skills and magic."

One of the students yelled at him, "but it's so hard! If I had made it to one of the top 500, I should've been out of the contract by now!"

He had a hunch about this, so Mu Qing had to ask Azul, "can I see one of those contracts?"

Azul materialized a golden contract and gave it to Mu Qing curious about what he was going to do.

Then Mu Qing began to read it.

Floyd noticed his eyebrow scrunched together and his teeth gritted. "Did any of you even learn to read before you agreed to it?" Mu Qing scowled at Azul's "clients."

He tossed the contract to Floyd who gave it to Azul.

Both of them grinned at the sight of Mu Qing as he rubbed his face with a hand and placed a hand on his hip, looking disgusted.

Jack tilted his head, confused, "Panther? What is it?"

Mu Qing gave them all a scary glare that made them cling to each other in fright. However, it gave shivers to Azul and excited the Leech twins, "yes, you were granted the visible study guides of the Exams, and did you happen to know that you were also to work for them until graduation?! God, you talk shit and act high and mighty about being a better mage compared to your peers, and how do you expect to become one as you all claim to desire if you can't even read a fucking manual or think before you sign it?!"

Mu Qing's frustration rose when they all went to say something but none of them uttered a word, confirming his suspicions.

"He's tearing into them!" Jade looked like a child who watched a funny movie.

Azul was just grinning at their clients'/employees' offended looks. 'He isn't wrong about it. Oh, you don't deserve to look insulted like that.' He scowled at them, 'You should've, indeed, made an effort to try to exercise your skills and abilities yet you come to me willingly.'

Floyd snickered, "Siren's making the face you get when our clients back out on their deals..."

One of the students grunted and glared at Mu Qing, "shut up asshole!"
