Kalim's nickname and it's obvious is Lǜzhōu, which means Oasis (绿洲).
Kalim calls him Jewel due to the way he glows with his Qi like a gem. ——— ———
Azul breathed in, "Incredible. He's controlling all these targets at the same time AND making them do separate things!" He grinned, undoubtedly impressed, "Mediocre, nothing. He's easily one of the top magicians in the entire school, to say nothing of Scarabia!"
"No matter how hard I squeeze them, they just keep rising again. They're little zombies!" Floyd griped as Mu Qing fought back and forth, quickly dodging and kicking every charging Scarabia student who was in a hypnotic state. "Jamil, please, just stop," Kalim begged. "Whatever you desire is yours! Assume the role of housekeeper! I'll return to my family at home."
"What? You thought that would work? My spell won't be broken so easily... Kalim" Jamil cackled, "Not as long as you exist in this world, Kalim!"
Jade scolded, "Jamil, you're courting danger! If you keep using your signature spell like this, you'll exceed your blot tolerance level and—"
Jamil shouted "Shut up! None do you get to order me around! I'm never going to follow orders again! I...will..." Mu Qing groaned "Here he comes..." Jamil wailed out "Be free!!!!!" He overblotted. Kalim gasped "What in the world? J-Jamil just transformed?!"
Jade put a hand on Mu Qing's shoulder, "The very air around us is changing. It's just like what happened with Azul..."
"He's overblotted!" Azul cried out, "And right on winter break with no prospects" Grim exclaimed "So he turned into one of the Overblot things too? I'd thought Kalim here would've been the one to overblot but Jamil?"
Azul observed " The negative blot energy is swelling up. Everyone, steel yourselves!" Mu Qing, Grim, Jade, and Floyd nodded.
Mu Qing extended his Qi to his classmates making sure to keep their magic rejuvenated and from them from experiencing overblot episodes. So they fought Jamil, this time overblot was even stronger than the Sea Witch. Although he's meditated, he is still slightly weakened from the Sea Witch's attacks and the drainage of his Qi. Azul and Floyd cast water spells Jade cast fire spells and Mu Qing would dodge every attack and counter with every attack with Qi-induced attacks and elemental powers, but Sorcerer of the Sand (or Jafar) could keep up and was a brilliant strategist, true to what he stood for, even if he was a two-faced slime to Aladdin and Jasmine.
Jamil has planned everything in detail, his attacks coordinated and perfectly timed. When he didn't have to concern himself with defense thanks to his shield spell, he could focus all his energy on his offensive. "Fire wheel!" Jade called out, making his hands engulfed in blazing flames which quickly morphed into a giant flaming wheel, thrown towards Jamil. He tried to dodge but the attack was too wide. It hit him square on his shield causing a bright flare that momentarily blinded them all. Seeing an opportunity, Azul and Floyd aimed their water spell to create a diversion while Mu Qing concentrated on their adversary's aura, seeking a gap in his defenses. "Water, rain!" The twins chanted together, water poured down from nowhere onto Jamil, blurring his vision. "Right then," Mu Qing jumped forward, golden Qi resonating from his palm as he went for a physical strike, but with that Jamil's overblot which was stronger at a level of that of a Wrath ghost, Azul noticed his Sea Pearl was panting heavily as he used Qi, so he suggested Mu Qing, "Save your energy, Sea Pearl." Floyd lifted Mu Qing "Let's go!"
