"Was Namjoon talkative?"

I rolled my eyes. I knew what he was trying to do there. He was trying to know what Namjoon and I talked about when he abandoned me. "More than you, that's for sure."

He scoffed but he didn't find it funny. "What did you two talk about?"

"You don't have to know."

"You're such a baby," he whispered but it wasn't discreet.

"I heard you." I rolled my eyes again. I really felt annoyed.

We started to adventure inside the town and all the infected were in the shadows, in the houses, or in the underground as they loved to be. We didn't talk much because we wanted to stay prudent and quiet, which was a good thing because I still didn't want to talk to him.

We found Pusan National University. It was quite easy to recognize as the name was written in capital letters on the front wall of the huge building.

He left me alone on the horse's back as he carefully started walking and opened the creaky gates to have a better view of everything. We walked through abnormally calm campus. Not a living would was to be seen.

My pulse raced as I suddenly heard noises. "Jin!" I turned my head and Jin was ready to jump on the horse again but our hearts calmed down when we realized that the noises were coming from small animals running and playing together.

They had a little head with black eyes and a very long and thin tail. I smiled uncontrollably.

"Monkeys!" I was very surprised to see these little animals here in the middle of the city. After all, it was uninhabited now.

"You've never seen monkeys before?" Jin laughed at me with his raspy voice.

"No actually. I've never seen monkeys before. Except for you..." I whispered the last sentence.

"Hupff. I heard you." He acted hurt but I know he wasn't. He was too full of himself to believe this.

We advanced further into the campus and searched for any sign of life, except the monkeys.

I watched Jin as he looked around. For some reason, it was as if nothing had happened. It felt like old times. Just the both of us, exploring abandoned and infected places. Risking our lives but not making a big deal out of it because it was just the meaning of our lives and we would always get out of it alive.

"When you were little, what job did you want to do?"

Jin looked up at me and it seemed as if I plunged him into his little self when he smirked. "Mm... I wanted to be a singer. Or an actor."

I laughed. "A singer!" I could only imagine him well on stage, singing for all those girls falling for him. It sounded perfect for him, in a normal life. "Can you sing for me?" I giggled.

"No way." He said sternly before laughing. "You've already heard anyway." He mumbled.

"Yes, I remember. In the DVD I stole from Yoongi." We listened to the DVD a bit after we left Yoongi, shortly after Taehyung's death. I remembered how all of their voices sounded great altogether. I also remembered Namjoon being with them. Seokjin had such a beautiful voice, it calmed my bleeding heart back then... "You'd be a great singer, Jin..." I said sincerely and he only nodded, seeming sad now.

"Yeah... If you say so." He gulped before looking up at me. "I'll check the dormitories." He said, completely changing the subject. He took his gas mask from his bag. "You stay here. Don't get too close to the monkeys, we don't know what these deceitful beasts can do." I nodded and before I could answer he was already gone.
