I felt cold.

And breathless.

Suddenly my body retook full function and I violently coughed and spitted all the excess of water I had in my lungs and body.

"He's awake!" I heard a blurred feminine voice and felt a presence next to me who was helping me to sit up while I was still coughing and starting to regain consciousness. I slowly opened my eyes when I heard male voices.

"Great."

"Thank heaven you're fine." Namsu. She pulled me to her and hugged me, a relieved tone dressing her voice.

My memories slowly started to line up in my brain again. The jump. The river. The rock. I remembered everything.

What caught my attention wasn't Namsu hugging me but the figure standing on the other side next to me. "You again." I stood up immediately, unsteadily, which forced Namsu to let go of me and I stared at the other person standing further from the rest of us, breathing heavily. I wasn't sure if I breathed so hard because I almost drowned or because of the faces in front of me.

I stared at them and tried to stand still, reminding my legs that their job was to hold me up, and made my way to the older one. I pushed him to the ground, got my gun out of my pocket, and aimed his head directly.

Traitors.

The kid went stupid and put himself in between me and his older brother, putting his own life at risk. I hated traitors, he didn't know what I was capable of after such a betrayal. "Stay away, boy."

"Jungkook, stay out of this." After a few seconds, he obeyed Jimin. "Listen. I saved you."

Namsu slowly came to my side and I couldn't help but look at her face. "We would have drowned if it wasn't for them..." She sadly smiled a bit and I realized I never noticed the slight dimples digging her cheeks. "They came back, Jin."

My gun lowered without realizing it and Jungkook helped Jimin stand up. I didn't look away from her eyes. "Are you okay?"

She nodded. She was fine. I breathed. "Come on." She said almost in a whisper and turned around. This must be the quietest discussion we ever had. We were always arguing and when we were not, she was overreacting, always loud and even joyful.

I guessed it brought a bit of light into all this darkness. Her joyfulness... or maybe just her...

Right... a light...

"You don't have to believe me, but I'm happy we found you," Jimin said with a smile before walking away.

I looked at the sky which was partially covered with little white clouds, letting most part of the sky blue, and the sun shone. I looked at the river flowing next to us and it looked nothing like yesterday. It was calmed.

The river was like me. Unleashed yesterday when I was so angry, and calm today when I was... relaxed? I looked around and I couldn't see anything for miles. No people. No building. No dangers.

I followed Namsu who was far behind the brothers who were already leaving.
