TW : death
"Dad left the house for us three, Remus has the letters that he left for me, you and Theo." Jamie told you. "I've already read mine. He said that this house and everything he owns can be shared between us three, we get to decide who keeps the house."
"Theo can keep it. I love this house, I grew up in it, but there's too many memories of you and dad." You wiped your tears away. "I would love to keep it, but it would hurt too much."
"If I could, I would live with you in this house. With our husbands, our kids and Theo's side of the family running around on holidays." She said. "It would be a living dream."
"It really would, wouldn't it?" You smiled at the image now playing in your head of your kids playing with their cousins.
Yeah, it would." She said and rested her head on your shoulder.
You could feel her heartbeat, it was getting slower and slower every minute. You had a strong feeling that this would be the last time you would ever get to see your sister alive. Maybe you would see her in the afterlife, but nobody is alive in the afterlife.
"I want to say thank you." She said.
"Thank you for what?" You asked her.
"For being my big sister, for always looking out for me no matter what and for loving me even when I say I hate you and when we argue." She said and held your hand. "Thank you for being there for me growing up and now."
Jamie's words only made you cry harder, her too. The two of you were sobbing messes.
"You don't need to thank me for anything, as your big sister I am meant to be there for you through thick and thin. It's my job." You told her and she laughed a little bit.
"I've already talked to Theo, I don't know what he's doing now but he had to do be physically dragged away because it's too hard for me to do this with both of you here." She told you. "This is all going to be easier if I talk to you both at different times."
"Nothing in the world can make this easier, Jamie." You told her and sighed.
You two talked for ages. There was a lot of tears, laughs and memories shared, memories you didn't even know you had until she bought them up and it all came back to you. There was also a lot of blood that he had coughed up, lots of tissues were used and tossed in the bin.
Then, you both fell asleep in each other's arms.

You woke up and Jamie was still asleep, which made you start panicking. You checked her pulse and couldn't find one on her wrist, then your hands moved to her neck to try find a pulse. Luckily, there was a pulse but sadly a faint one.
It was still there though.
Your actions made her wake up so you hugging her, scared that she had just died in your arm.
She opened her mouth to say something, but started coughing a lot more which meant there was a lot of blood, more than usual. You handed her tissues but that wasn't enough.
There was a bathroom right outside your bedroom door, so you put her arm around your shoulder and carried her with all your strength to the bathroom opposite your bedroom door. You held her hair back as she coughed blood into the sink, the sink now covered in blood.
Once she was done, you helped her back into your room and back into her bed before going back into the bathroom. You cleaned up the blood in the sink, then went back to join Jamie.
"I'm so sorry, baby." She whispered to you in a very quiet and weak voice, weaker than usual.
"Jamie, I told you to not say that your sorry for any of this. None of this shit is your fault." You reminded her and she smiled slightly at you.
"Emily.." she said and coughed once.
"Yeah?" You asked.
"Thank you- for being.." she paused halfway through her sentence and gulped. "Thank you for being my mum."
You couldn't help but smile brightly. She thought is you as her mother, the mother figure she grew up with was you and that's who she would always remember as her mum. You loved that you could have that title in her life, you would be forever grateful for that.
"I love you so much, Jamie-Leigh." You squeezed her hands and kissed her forehead.
"I love you so much more, mum."
Those were her last words.
You started to cry once her eyes shut, thinking she was just asleep but not liking the image of it because it's how she would look when she dies. Very shortly after, you broke down in tears and screams when her chest stopped moving up and down.
Anthony and George came rushing into your bedroom when they heard your screams. George just stood there frozen, he didn't know what to do. Anthony started to cry too, his breath getting shakier and shakier as he held you in his arms.
He was sobbing whilst trying to comfort you as much as he could. He just lost his un-biological sister, the little sister he grew up with but it was never official.
George ran out of your bedroom to get someone, he soon came back with Fred. George left the room to contact Anthony's parents and brothers, letting them know what happened and that they need to come back to England for their son and to help him through this.
Fred walked over and took you into his arms, trying to carry you off of Jamie's bed but you kicking him and hitting him until he let go of you, which he didn't. He sat on the bed and placed one of his hands on the back of you head, pulling it into his chest so you can cry into him with his support and comfort.
Anthony didn't let go off you until your brother came upstairs and into your bedroom. Theo's eyes widened and his jaw dropped a little bit at the sight of his older sister sobbing next to his twin sister's body. Anthony got up off the bed and walked over to Theo, hugging him as he stood there still, in shock.
