You were sat in Fred's arms, resting your head on his chest and listening to his heartbeat. His hands were playing with your hair, twisting it around his finger and looking into your eyes.

He placed a soft and loving kiss on the top of your head before gently moving you, thinking you were asleep, to get up off of the couch. He quietly walked out of the living room and into the kitchen.

You quietly got off the couch was well to follow him, going to jump scare him but he just got another bottle of vodka out of the cupboard. He opened it and took a few big gulps of the drink, his Adam's apple bopping.

He put the bottle back down on the kitchen side, sighing and placing his head in his hands out of what looked like frustration.

You walked over to him and wrapped your arms around his waist, your head laying on his back as he picked his head up and turned around to hug you properly.

"Are you okay?" You looked up and asked him.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Come on, let's go outside." He smiled down at you but it wasn't a very convincing smile.

You didn't say anything else because he opened the back door for you, letting you go outside and grabbing a box of cigarettes and lighter before following you out. He put them in his pocket and grabbed your hand, leading you to a bench in the back garden.

You noticed a tree house in the distance, you wanted to go up and explore but Fred had his arm wrapped around your shoulder and a cigarette now lit and in his mouth.

"Let me have a puff." You said.

"No. You don't smoke." He said and had a puff.

"I want to try it." You told him. "Freddie, please."

"No." He said. "I don't want you to try it because it's bad for you."

"Then why do you do it?" You asked.

"Because I don't care what happens to me, but I do care about what happens to you. So I'm not letting smoke any of my cigarettes, I don't have a choice in anyone else's though." He said.

You couldn't help but smile up at him, it was really sweet of him to care for you like that.

"Why don't you want me to smoke, but your fine with me drinking and you drink with me?" You asked.

"Because drinking isn't as bad as smoking in my opinion." He told you looked into your eyes.

"That's true." You nodded your head slightly.

It had been a couple more hours of drinking, Fred smoking and the two of you kissing quite a lot, and there was a knock at the door.

Fred went to go get it because you were really drunk and would most likely pass out if you were to stand up and walk. He opened the front door and there stood Anthony.

His eyes were bloodshot and his hands were shaking slightly. You immediately held your head up as Fred let him in, asking straight away what happened.

"You two need to get back right now. George told me you'd be here, it's getting really bad at home." Anthony shuddered.

Him and Fred came to the couch and sat down, Anthony rested his arms on his knees and frustratedly threw his head in his hands. You moved over to put a hand on his knee for support, he only tried to shake it off though but you didn't let him.

"Anthony, what do you mean it's getting bad there?" Fred asked him.

"You need to come and see for yourself. Theo's back too, he's stoned. Remus and Tonks are nowhere to be seen after it, after Jamie.." he said in a shaky voice, a panicked one.

"What happened to Jamie, is she alright?" You immediately asked in concern for your sister.

"No." He said and you stood up, wobbling a bit but holding yourself up still.

"I'm going back." You said and grabbed the boys' hands, apparating back to Grimmauld Place by a wand. "Ant, where is she?"

"Your room." He told you and watched as you sprinted up the stairs as fast as you could.

Fred was going to go after you, but Anthony put a hand in front of him and told him to give you some space.

You opened your bedroom door and there she was, coughing up blood in her bed. Her skin was white, almost like a ghost, and it looked like her eyes were bruised but they were only eye bags from lack of sleep.

She looked like she was in so much pain, she looked so weak and like she was ready to give up. You rushed over to her bed and her attention was on you, she put the bloody tissue she was coughing into on her bedside table.

Your hand cupped half of her face, your other hand gripping onto her hands and squeezing them tightly to let her know you were here for her.

"Emily." She whispered. "I'm so sorry."

"No, Jamie, no. Don't be sorry." You told her and she started to cry very easily.

"I- I think this is it." She said then started to cough even more, grabbing a pack of tissues and coughing into one of the tissues.

"Jamie, no it can't be. Please don't say that, we still have so many years left as sisters." You shook your head as tears filled your eyes.

"We can't ignore it anymore, Em." She said.

"We can get you help though, we can do whatever we can to keep you alive for as long as we can." You told her.

"It's too late. I wish it wasn't, but it is." She told you and patted her bed for you to sit with her properly.

You climbed under the blanket and sat with your arm locked with hers. The two of you hugged for what felt like ages, crying into each other's arms like the world was ending.
