The sun hugs me from behind
And kisses the crown of my head
Like a lover made only for me
A lover most caring, kind and present
The wind whispers secrets in my ear
And holds me when I cannot hold myself
Like a sibling made only for me
A sibling most supportive, chatty and present
The trees blanket me with shade
And protect me from others' wrath
Like a parent made only for me
A parent most protective, doting and present
The water washes away my worries
And wipes away my tears
Like a friend made only for me
A friend most attentive, empathetic and present
The fire dances for my pleasure
And seals all my wounds
Like a healer made only for me
A healer most ready, willing and present
The earth clears the way for me
And tells the stories of my ancestors
Like a scribe made only for me
A scribe most knowledgeable, patient and present
The sky takes away my words with beauty
And paints the most glorious pictures
Like an artist made only for me
An artist most talented, creative and present
Mother Nature is generous
Look what she has given me
Spread her love
So that others may experience it too
