The pair went to the platform and Leggins offered them a weapon to pick. While Steven choose a sword Spinel picked a big pink hammer.
-That's a big hammer...- Steven said a little intimidated.
-Yep, I like them that way- Spinel said.
-Do you use those weapons in battles?- Steven asked Leggins referring to the big hammer.
-Not really, just in trainings since those weapons are useless in real battles. Imagine how useless a big hammer is in a battle in which the combatants use laser guns or that kind of weaponry. Other weapons like swords or knifes are used but when there is no gun available- Leggins explained.
-That makes sense- Steven said.
-Yeah. Well, good luck to both of you. And remember Spinel, no cheap shots- Leggins said before retiring of the arena.
-No promises- Spinel said.
-What!?- Steven asked worried.
-Just kidding Steven. Relax, it would be just a friendly match- Spinel said.
-Yeah, you are right- Steven said.
-Hey Pink Pearl, can you put some good music when the battle begins?- Spinel asked.
-I'm on my way!- Pink Pearl said moving to the computer to put the music.
-Well, I guess that we will have to start the battle with some cheesy lines- Spinel said thinking in what to say, putting a hand on her chin and scratching her head with the fingers of her other hand.
-Yeah, maybe I can think on a cool line to begin with...- Steven said.
An idea came to Spinel's mind and she grabbed some dirt that was on the soil.
-I'm gonna put some dirt on your eye, Steven Quartz-Universe- Spinel said.
Spinel then launched the dirt to Steven's eyes.
-Spinel, what the fuck!?- Steven shouted angrily, taking the dirt from his eyes.
-I told you that I was about to put some dirt in your eye Steven! You should be more watchful- Spinel said.
-Whatever, just begin with this fight- Steven said summoning his shield.
-Perfect. I got a new style and a few new toys that are gonna put an end to your "happily ever after" once and for all!- Spinel said in a serious tone.
The public started to laugh out loud.
-What the heck was that!?- a Rose Quartz asked while laughing.
-Is the phrase that I said to Steven and the Crystal Gems before I kicked their ass on Earth a year ago- Spinel said.
-You seriously said that!? It sounds so Saturday cartoon villain- a the fusion of a Pearl and an Aquamarine said.
-Yeah, it sounded cooler and serious in my head- Spinel said.
-It is very threatening to me Spinel!- Rose shouted.
-Oh, thank you Pinky! I don't know how I hated you before- Spinel said putting her arms together and making some hearts in her eyes.
-She left you like 6000 years on that garden- Steven said.
-It's just an expression Steven. Besides, that is on the past and she is again my bf- Spinel said.
