OUTER-RIM
Kenny grunts as she rubs her head, glaring up at Zero, 'A warning, would've been lovely.'
'Z, are you sure they can't see us?' Mayfeld yells up at him.
'The Razor Crest is scrambling our signature and I am inside the prison system. It's impressive that this gunship had survived the Empire without being impounded.' The droid turns to Kenny, 'I suggest you go now.'
Kenny slides down the ladder, landing on her feet, she ignores Mando who is waiting for her as she walks up to the others, pulling on her leather gloves and shoving two batons into the back of her belt.
'All right, we got a job to do. Mando, you're up.'
He sighs as he begins to pick the lock and breaks into the ship they're attached to. He stands again, taking his place beside Kenny as everyone looks to Mayfeld, 'It's me?'
'Always you.'
He sigs and drops down, followed by Xi'an and Burg, Kenny leans forward but is stopped by a hand gripping her upper arm.
'Let go of me-'
'They know about the kid.'
'What? Did you tell them? What is wrong with you?'
He sighs, tilting his head down at her, 'No, I didn't tell them, they hit the control, he's back in there, safe.'
'Hey, you two, you better not have killed each other up there!'
Kenny sighs, casting a glance to him and then the bunk before grabbing ahold of the ledge and swinging herself down, landing with one leg bent, the other stretched out and one arm holding her on the floor. She flicks her head up, her hair flipping over onto her back.
She gets to her feet, moving out of the way for Mando to land beside them as Mayfeld speaks into his comms, 'Zero. Get us to the control room.'
'Sub level three. Disabling onboard surveillance.'
Mayfeld turns to the group, 'All right, we're on the clock. Second we engage those droids, they're gonna be all over us.'
'I know the drill.'
'Bio trackers activated. I've got eyes.'
'All right, let's go.'
They begin walking through the ship, Imperial officers and other criminals watching from their places behind bars.
Kenny shifts closer to Mando as an Imp sends her a grin, arms hanging loosely through the bars.
Sensing her hesitation he makes his thoughts known, one hand over his balster the other hovering behind her back, 'I don't like this.'
'You always were paranoid.' Xi'an runs her tongue across her teeth, as she barges between them.
Mayfeld chuckles as he looks back from leading the group, 'Is that true, Mando? Were you always paranoid?'
