A Defector

The team sped off yet again from the hideout, it seemed all they were doing nowadays was coming and leaving, yet it wasn’t going to end anytime soon, Liam and Diane sat in the back of the car while Eric drove it, Kurt and Theo going on the motorbike.

For the first time since they returned to Hollyoaks they were back in the hospital area and the five of them parked up behind the ambulances, “we might have to be stealthy on this one, if we reveal ourselves Sofia might kill Clara so we need to remain undetected as long as possible.’’ Said Diane to the other four.

‘’Me and Theo will distract the gang and get them to look out of the cafe for a couple of minutes, you three climb the wall up to the small balcony and get inside, free Clara and then we’ll kill them all.’’ Chimed in Liam.

‘’Right, you two go ahead, we’ll wait for your distraction then we’ll climb up the wooden wall’’ said Diane, leading Kurt and Eric over to it,

Theo and Liam walked to the front of the cafe but stepped back a bit, Liam pulled out a pistol he was keeping on him and fired it into the air, the noise frightening the gang members.

‘’What was that?” Asked one.

‘’I don’t know, we better check,’’ replied another.

Multiple gang members walked outside of the cafe to investigate the gunshot, giving the other half of the team the chance they needed, climbing up the wooden wall and up to the small balcony.

All of a sudden the trio heard footsteps going up the stairs, they hid and leant against the wall, once the gang member walked out onto the small balcony Diane punched her in the head, knocking her unconscious.

Kurt then led the other two down the stairs and they witnessed Clara tied to a chair, with two gang members next to her, holding pistols to her skull.

Eric went to the one on her right and Kurt to the one on her left, they both grabbed their heads and slammed them onto the floor, Diane then pulled out a switchblade, cutting the rope being used to tie Clara to the chair.

‘’Who the hell are you guys? Oh now I recognise you lot, you’re that so-called team being discussed all the time, cheers for rescuing me, much obliged, now the cherry on top would be to kill the rest of this gang’’ she said to them.

Some of the gang members began to retreat back into the cafe, since they couldn’t find the origin of the gunshot, however that's when Theo and Liam took advantage of them having their back turned, they came out of the shadows and rushed at them.

Some of them looked behind to see where the footsteps were coming from, however all they could quickly see was Theo and Liam headbutting them unconscious, meanwhile the rest of the team inside were absolutely demolishing the gang.

Clara twisted one of their arms behind their back after kneeing them in the crotch, making them fall to the floor in pain, which let her get the opportunity to kick them in the head. Diane kicked one in the chest to the staircase, smashing their head repeatedly on the banister, Kurt and Eric dealing with the others inside.

After all the gang members had been taken care of only about two were dead, Theo and Liam walked inside of the cafe, Diane phoning the police to take the gang into custody, "right, do you know where Sofia is?" Liam asked to Clara.

"No idea, she left and gave her lackies the job of taking care of me. I wanted to leave and defect but of course she found out, where are you taking me? The police station with the rest of the gang I presume" asked Clara.

"If you can help us out, no, join us and help us to get our village back, take care of all these gangs, what I'm asking is, will you join our team?" Asked Diane.

"Oh what the hell, I'm already at risk of being killed by Sofia, may as well make some more enemies and chaos" smirked Clara.

Liam opted to walk back to the loft and let Clara and Eric take the motorbike, while the other three took the car, entering through the brick wall yet again, going down the metal road and parking on the turntable, Diane introduced Clara to the entire team and their names.

"So this is like an all knowing computer?" Asked Clara.

"Basically!" Said Alfie, "amazing technology, very fascinating."

"Take one of the rooms, we built loads of spares, then you can join us when we need to take care of more of them gang scumbags." Said Liam to Clara.
