No Man's Land

Albert's Safehouse

The team awoke a bit later than they had anticipated, at around twenty past ten in the morning, however once they were dressed they all rushed to the computer to see if there was any alerts.

"Just one, lucky for you guys, it's related to Albert yet again, he's not stopping, apparently he's rallying along with his gang at a safehouse outside of the village, we saw where it is through traffic cameras, if you guys can get there and ambush them-" said Alfie.

"Then we can take care of Albert and his gang, two birds with one stone, we better go!" Said Diane, leading the team to the vehicles, "one of us should stay behind since the walking distance would be too much."

"I'll stay" said Eric, sitting down at the computer with the others.

"Right, I'll take the motorbike with Liam and Theo will drive the car, Kurt and Clara get in the back, Alfie can you set our navigation systems to direct us to the safehouse?" Diane asked.

"Done already Diane, you're all ready now!" He replied.

The five of them drove up the metal road and out through the brick wall, speeding off into the distance.

Soon enough they had all finished their travelling to the safehouse and arrived at a distance from it, not parking right outside to keep hidden, for a while atleast.

They all got out of their vehicles and gathered around, "I say we go in guns blazing, can't be bothered going the subtle route again." Said Diane.

The team made sure they had their arm and fist covers on and ran to the front door, Theo kicked it open and stepped inside, however from the side of the door was Albert! He grabbed his assault rifle and slammed it into the side of Theo's head, knocking him out.

Before the team could react Albert's gang came in from the other room and aimed all their guns at them.

"Unless you want Theo here to get a bullet out inside his skull, surrender to us." He threatened.

"Let's do it. We can't risk losing him." Whispered Diane to the others, they all got down on their knees and held their hands in the air, before the gang members knocked them out by hitting their back of their assault rifles into the teams heads.

Diane, Clara, Liam and Kurt awoke in a dark room, with no light at all, they tried to move but realised they were tied to chairs, "ALBERT?! SHOW YOURSELF!" Shouted Liam struggling to escape.

The light was then switched on by Albert who was smirking, the team saw infront of them Theo, who was also tied to a chair, but they wondered why he wasn't beside them.

Albert approached the back of Theo and rested his hands on the back of the chair, speaking with a threatening tone to the team.

"Listen, you guys can't get out of this one, we've got you, no way to escape. However I AM, willing to make a deal with the four of you." Said Albert.

"Don't you mean the five of us?" Asked Kurt.

"No. Four." Replied Albert.

"What's this deal? Come on tell us!" Shouted Theo.

"Well Theo, my boy. You're at the centre of it. I'm tired of you and your friends but it's mainly you, you're the biggest obstacle in my way, the most powerful, that's why I want to destroy that." Said Albert bluntly.

"Well if you're going to kill me just get it over with! I can't STAND the boring villain monologue" said Theo sarcastically.

"I haven't even told your friends the deal yet. Calm down Theodore. The deal is that if Liam kills Theo, then I'll let the rest of you go, it's that simple." Blurted out Albert.

"NEVER!" Shouted Diane.

"Wait, hold on guys, if it's the only way to save us I'll do it." Said Liam.

"ARE YOU INSANE?" Asked Kurt.

"We can't kill a friend." Adamantly said Clara.

"It's the only way, so I'm going to do it." Replied Liam.

"NO!" Shouted Theo angrily. "I'M NOT GOING TO DIE, I CAN'T! Please Liam. Don't do this." He begged.

"I have to do this." Replied Liam emotionlessly.

"I'm not a monster so I'll let you all say your final goodbyes, you have ten minutes" said Albert, untying everyone and releasing them from their chairs, he threatened them with a pistol while they whispered their final words to Theo incase they tried to escape, no one attempted to.

Clara was the only one who didn't talk to Theo much, as she hadn't known him long.

However everyone else had a lot of words to say to him, since they had known him for a very long time.

After the ten minutes was up Albert opened the door of the room they were in and revealed they were still in the safehouse, he told his gang to keep Diane and Clara there until him, Liam and Theo had left and they agreed.

Albert got Liam and Theo into the back of his car and drove to a pier, he led them both down to the edge above the water and handed Liam the pistol, "do it."

Albert walked away while Liam loaded the pistol, he pressed it against the back of Theo's head and then Albert heard a gunshot then a second after was a splash in the water.

Theo was dead.

Albert shoved Liam into his car and laughed, he had killed his friend to save his own skin, that was evil, Albert arrived at the loft and threw Liam out, driving off.

Liam entered the hideout and reunited with the rest of the team, who were now absolutely furious.
