No Man's Land

A Shootout

"What do you want me to do Miss Kean?" Asked Theo.

"Before you barged in and interrupted us, we were discussing going to steal some medical supplies." Said Sofia.

"From the hospital?" Asked Theo.

"The HOSPITAL?!" Asked Sofia, chuckling. "All the civilians looted all the supplies inside as soon as we showed up."

"So where can we find them?" Asked Theo.

"The government refuses to come near Hollyoaks itself or anywhere outside of it due to the ongoing turf war but they continue to send supplies. I've heard of a helicopter dropping medical and weapon supplies to a warehouse near the outside of Hollyoaks. We're going to go there and take them all." Said Sofia.

"Oh alright, let's get a move on then" said Theo.

"You have a gun right? Just in case you need one?" Asked Sofia.

"Do I have a gun? Obviously." Said Theo, pulling the pistol Frankie had given him out of his pocket and showing it off.

"Everyone move, let's go" ordered Sofia, everyone leaving the cafe.

She led the gang, which was around eighteen people including her and Theo.

They walked over to the hospital which was basically abandoned and to the ambulances.

They split up into three different ambulances, breaking the windows to each to get inside and start them.

Two people got in the front of each ambulance, while four people jumped in the back.

Theo sat in the passenger seat of the second ambulance, as the three vehicles full of gang members began to drive off, he took out his phone and texted someone, before putting his phone away again.

On the journey to the warehouse, Theo tried to calm his boredom by taking out and putting in the exact same magazine into his pistol and pulling the hammer of the gun, repeating it multiple times.

After a long wait for Theo they arrived at the warehouse, jumping out of the ambulances and walking inside of it, the massive doors to it had been pulled open and there was a massive hole in the middle of the roof, which down below it was multiple supplies.

The rumors Sofia had heard were true, there were weapons and medical supplies waiting there for them that had been dropped in by helicopter.

Theo caught up with Sofia and walked next to her as they entered the warehouse, approaching the supplies and getting ready to start taking them back to the ambulances and store them.

All of them grabbed the boxes of weapons and medical supplies, walking over to the ambulances and opening the back doors, placing the boxes inside.

As they got the second and last half of the boxes and stored them in the back of the ambulances, suddenly multiple cars pulled up at the warehouse.

They were all Audi's, Mercedes or BMW and out of a black Mercedes stepped none other than gang leader Barbara Wicker, holding an assault rifle.

The rest of her gang were in the other cars, getting out of them wielding submachine guns.

"You." Said Sofia angrily.

"Good to see you, where are the supplies?!" Barbara sarcastically asked.

"You're not getting them, drive off now before you lose your gang" threatened Sofia.

"Do you really think this is my entire gang? Pathetic, I expected you to be smarter than that, what would be smart is to hand me and my gang this supplies." Said Barbara, walking further towards Sofia and her gang, both gangs having their guns aimed at each other.

Barbara looked at Theo, who unexpectedly shot her in the leg, "AGH!" She shouted in pain, unleashing a full magazine of bullets onto a gang member of Sofia's chest.

A battle began to break out, Theo hid behind the front of one of the ambulances, reaching out to shoot Barbara's gang members and managing to kill two of them by landing a shot on their heads.

Barbara jumped into her car, sitting in the passenger seat as a member of her gang ran into the back of one of the ambulances and grabbed a box of supplies.

She then got into the car in the driver's seat and handed Barbara the box of supplies, "fix yourself up there." She said, reversing the car and then doing a 180° drift, driving up the road that led to the warehouse and leaving the battlefield.

Sofia's gang was clearly winning the shootout, with only four gang members of Barbara's remaining, Theo stopped hiding at the front of the ambulance and revealed himself, shooting one of them in the head, he crouched to avoid a bullet coming his head and shooting another in their gut, he then grabbed a submachine gun from one of the bodies and unleashed a load of bullets onto the chests of the remaining two gang members, who collapsed to the ground.

Sofia's gang had won, the gang that Barbara had brought had clearly lost.

Two gang members each got into the front of each ambulance, with the rest of the gang members jumping into the cars of Barbara's gang, only two of Sofia's gang had died.

Theo got his own car, a black Mercedes, while Sofia picked out a blue Audi.

Once everyone was ready, they all drove off, the cars staying in front of the ambulances.

Theo had an adrenaline rush and drove as fast as he could, the other cars desperately trying to keep up with him.

Eventually, they reached Hollyoaks and parked the cars and ambulances outside of the hospital, walking inside of the cafe and carrying the supplies in there with them.

The gang members began to unpack all of the supplies, Sofia walked into the storeroom and grabbed two large cardboard boxes. "Alright, one is for weapons and the other for medical supplies. Got it?" She said, pointing at the right ones.

Sofia approached Theo, "I have to say, you made me proud today, shooting Barbara like that with no fear. Keep proving yourself like that." She smiled.

Once everything was packed into two seperate boxes, Theo gazed into the weapons box and grabbed a shotgun. He then received a text, "Sofia, I'm looking into a lead on Barbara's whereabouts, I might be gone for the rest of the day." Lied Theo. "Is that alright?" He asked.

"Yes, go ahead. Take the whole day off to investigate if you want, you earned it." Smiled Sofia, writing on a piece of paper her phone number and waking over to Theo, handing it over. After that, Theo left the cafe, walking over to his car and driving away from the hospital area, going to the pub car park and parking there.

He got out of his car, walking through the alleyway and to the pub, a man opening the door for him on the inside.

Theo stepped inside, Barbara sat on a chair in the middle of the room.

"You didn't have to shoot my leg like that, you know?" Said Barbara.

"It made good use though, Sofia trusts me now. As does Tim. I'm pinning both against each other while feeding you both their information, it's amazing. Glad you received my text to come to the warehouse though, plus you did bring the worst gang members. Sofia's gang and I definitely got rid of them." Chuckled Theo.

"The first time we met, I couldn't believe your proposition," said Barbara.

Days ago.

Theo had washed up ashore, after swimming away from the docks. He had heard rumors Barbara had already taken over the pub and hadn't exposed it yet, as it was a hideout for her.

He decided to get a taxi back to Hollyoaks, walking from the car park to the pub front door and banging on it.

A man opened it and Theo put his foot in the door, barging inside and spotting Barbara who pulled out her pistol. "You. I've heard about you. Theo. Foolish coming in here." She said.

"Listen, I have a proposal for you, not marriage though don't worry, I am gay after all. Okay, in all seriousness-" he then told her the plan to infiltrate both Tim and Sofia's gangs, to start a more violent war and distract them as Barbara would rise to the top, lying that he had completely abandoned his team.

Present Day.

"I told you Barbara, I'm useful" said Theo.
