Oh yeah I forgot about this book

Anyways Alt au(?) Where Colle found Seer right before he got corrupted--

A little old and short but I need to post here so-

/

Colle wandered the forest, taking in his surroundings slowly. Nothing had really happened today, not since the demon war either. Colles injuries had healed a few weeks ago, so he has decided a walk couldn't hurt.

And for a while, it was nice. The birds occasionally chirped to him and the sun was bright and shining.

Everything was going well until he found someone squirming in agony.

"..Seer-?!"

/

"Seer?!- Seer are you okay..?!"

Colle immediately ran to Seer upon seeing him. He scanned his body for any wounds or blood, even a slight bruise, but he couldn't see anything. Although that didn't change Seer's hands gripping around his own head and gritting his teeth, trying to curl up into a shaky ball.

"Seer, Hey- Hey it's Colle, okay? What's going on- should I get help?-", Seer still had no response, although he finally opened one of his eyes to start up at Colle.

"..Colle, run."

This wasn't the most comforting thing to hear, but it didn't drive Colle away in the slightest. His mind immediately rushed to something else was here- maybe Seer was just exhausted?- and hunting Seer down.

Without thinking, Colle picked up Seer

"Colle- COLLE PUT ME DOWN- PLEASE-! YOU NEED TO RUN!-"

Confused and concern began filling Colle. Weren't they about to run right now? Why would Colle leave Seer? Was he infected with something? Why wouldn't he tell him then?

Half the situation didn't make sense to Colle, but he decided to run with Seer anyways. Whatever was happening to Seer, he could fix it. Well, more accurately, Genesis could.

Despite Seer's frantic protests, Colle held him tight as he began running. Teleporting would obviously be quicker, but Colle didn't know if that'd effect Seer- it probably wouldn't, but Colle didn't want to risk anything.

/

Everything seemed like it'd be fine until Seer began screaming. Colle jolted, the screams right in his ear, instinctively his arms let go of Seer and flew to cover his ears.

Seer finally fell off Colle's back and landed on the ground, squirming and screaming in pain. He gripped his sides and tried to stand up, but fell down everytime.

"Seer?! Seer, c'mon, I-"

"GET AWAY!"

Something filled Seer's voice. It wasn't anything polite, it sounded like a parasite ripping his throat to shreds. To make things worse, something was growing at Seer's feet.

It was the darkest shade of black Colle ever saw, and it was spreading along the grass quick. Flowers died as soon as they made contact, the grass became dry and withered away.

Seer looked at Colle dead in the eye, and Colle couldn't tell if he was angry or horrified.

"C'mon Seer, please just-..!" Colle held out his hand, reaching over the dark substance, "Gen- Genesis can help you! Please I-.. I don't know what's going on but- GAH!"

Lightning struck right in front of Colle and narrowly avoided blowing his face off. Colle raised his arm to reach for Seer again but lightning struck one more, and this time it didn't stop until Colle made distance from Seer.

"SEER PLEASE-! WHAT'S GOING ON-?! ARE YOU OKAY..?!-"

No response. Seer laid on the ground, his face to the dirt and his hands gripping his messy hair. The dark substances began surrounding him, climbing up his arms and weaving into the fabric of his clothing.

Colle couldn't muster any words. If he reached over again, could Seer kill him? Would Seer kill him? He never considered Seer would even hit him before, but now here they were, with Colle barely avoiding white-hot lightning bolts from his friend.

Desperately, Colle reached his hand out one more time.

"..Seer, PLEASE- I know you can hear me, right..?! Come here, we can fix this!.. please..?!"

No response.

The silence became eerie, all Colle heard was a slime-like noise of the substance covering Seer.

Colle finally began to take Seers advice to run, his feet slowly taking steps further back.

Seer rose to his feet after what felt like hours of silence, except that was in no way Seer anymore.

His eyes were blood red, his cloak stretched down to his knees, his colorful rainbow windows looked like they'd been split in two, and were now the same color as the darkness on the ground.

Colle stood frozen, his brain in a mix of fight and flight. What happened? Colle swore he'd only left Seer alone for a few weeks, what'd even happened?

Before Colle could even blame himself, something sharp whizzed by his head, barely scratching his ear.

It was a scythe- Seer's scythe- and it cut right into a tree behind Colle. The redhead looked at the weapon, then stared back at Seer, his eyes wide and terrified.

'Seer' only smiled, his eyes held the opposite expression of Colle's. He was enjoying this.

"When I pull the scythe out of the tree, I'm going to find you-" 'Seer' said, raising his hand slightly

Colle heard rattling behind him, and he immediately knew what was about to happen.

"I'll give you a headstart"
