Just TR fluff woo !! can you tell who my favorite character is yet lmao

also Ari's supposed to be the yellow steve that took care of shadow but- he only had like 2 scenes so he's also kinda a oc ?? idk

Snow wasn't exactly common here. At least, not for the Elite. He wasn't sure what had quite happened, whether the sky had ruptured from the darkness or the cold flakes simply refused to live there, but snow never came down in the area he resided in.

It wasn't too bad honestly. Things were usually less busy, seeing as Twisted didn't have such a blessing. When the snow fell harshly, piling outside the darkened lands, it usually meant they would be able to relax at least for a day. Sure, it meant Elite would have to train more with the Great One, which was unpleasant, to say the least. Besides that, he didn't mind the cold weather all too much.

It was a few hours until he needed to train, for now he just walked around the perimeter of the darkened lands, the snow melting into the darkness and turning an inky black.

To put it simply, snow was very different in the yellow village.

For starters, there wasn't anything stopping it from falling down. Sometimes Elite would wake up to see it piled up outside the door, or watch ice form hanging off the roof- they were called icicles apparently. Children ran around on 'sleds' or throwing the snow at each other.

He didn't quite understand it, but they didn't understand his life as well, mostly the elite stuff. It was fine. Whatever it was, it was fine. He liked his life here, although it hadn't been that long. It was autumn when he arrived, and now it was winter.

"Mister! Mister!" Someone called from behind him, and quickly Shadow felt someone tugging at the back of his shirt. Shadow turned to see a small kid, probably no older than 12, grinning at him, holding something behind his back.

"...hi." Shadow said flatly. The child giddly stared up at him.

"You're that elite man, right? My papa said-"

"Yes. I am." Shadow didn't quite know where this was going. Why wasn't this kid playing with the other kids? He'd noticed children were usually a lot more hyperactive, and he didn't understand why they'd talk to someone like him. He wasn't really that entertaining.

"Can you hold your hands out, Mr. Elite?"

That was a weird title, but children were odd anyways. He held his hands out, cupping them together slightly.

The child suddenly pulled his arm out from behind his back and thrust a little doll into Shadow's hands. Shadow paused at the suddenly gesture until he processed what it was. He opened his mouth to speak but found he didn't know /what/ to say.

"Here's your present sir!"

The kid ran off before Shadow could think of anything to say, leaving him confused. Slowly, he examined the doll, not quite understanding who it was.

Dark-ish skin, they had a hoodie, little pink stubs-... Oh. It was him. He felt his broken horns, and noticed the stubs on the cloth doll was in the same place as his horns.

He didn't know they were pink (although they were actually a dark magenta, but he didn't know that either.)

He'd never really seen what he looked like before. Maybe he should do that soon. It was something he preferred to avoid, it's not like he thought about it much either. Though once it was mentioned, it became the only thing on his mind.
