Ryder's POV
It's finally Friday but we are staying home from school because Addilyne ain't feeling good I think she has the flu she had a slight fever this morning and feels sick to her stomach I just made her soup and gave her medicine even though it was a fight to get her to eat and take the medicine shes laying on the couch bundled up watching supernatural I heard a knock at the door but heard Addilyne getting it while I finished the dishes but I heard yelling
Addilyne's POV
I hate my life right now I'm sick and can't stand it I have throwing up absolutely hate it I will tell myself I'm not gonna throw up nope not today I ain't Ryder is being the best he made me soup and made me take medicine and even let me watch supernatural all day I was in the middle of the episode where it flashes back to when Dean was in that home tearjerker I know someone knocked on the door I know Ryder is doing the dishes so I got up and opened the door and bout threw up right there on the spot I got so sick to my stomach but seeing him made my blood boil
"Get away from my house now and never one back"i growl clenching my fist
"Sweeti-" he started but I interrupted him
"NO LEAVE"I scream
I hear Ryder running in he comes up behind me and puts his arms around my waist
"You okay baby"he asked
"No this waste of air is at my door step"i say furious
"No angel"the devil said
"Don't ever call me that again you waste of space bastard you lost the privilege to call me anything the second you laid your dirty ass hands on me"i yelled in his face
Ryder's POV
No that cant be him I thought he was in prison for the rest of his life why would her so called father be here my blood starts to boil why would you every lay a finger on you own child
"Leave"i growl coldly before I could stop myself
"Now whose this" he asked
"Someone that's about to beat the living hell out of you"i seethe
Addilyne's POV
Ryder was getting mad I want to let him beat this man into a pulp but I don't know if he would stop before he killed him
"Leave before I call the cops"i grit out
"Why would you on your dear ole dad"he asked smirking sickly
"Your a sick piece of shit"i yell
"Come give daddy a hug" he says smiling and laughing
I didn't know what happened but I felt my body throw its self out of Ryder's grip and the next thing i know is my fist is colliding with his face he stumbles back holding his mouth
"You always did like it rough"he laughed evilly
"GO TO HELL"i screamed over and over
I heard a fist connect to skin constantly but it wasn't me I look up and see Ryder standing over him breathing heaving with that piece of trash unconscious I go in and call the police about ten minutes later they arrive
They took our statements and told us that he was just let out for good behavior but had robbed a small gas station a town over at gun point that he would be back in after we got inside I went to take a shower and while I was getting dressed Ryder took one
He came out only wearing sweatpants that hung low on his hips
i was sitting on the bed staring at the wall Ryder came over sat beside me and pulled me into his lap
"I've got you baby"he whispered
I haven't even realized I was crying
He rubbed my back and whispered sweet nothings into my ear
"Thank you for not leaving me"i whisper
"I never will baby I promise"he whispered in my ear kissing my lips
"I love you"i say
"I love you"he says back laying us down with me on his chest I fall asleep to his heartbeat.
