Ryder's POV
I have texted addilyne ten times and she isn't answering usually she is up and ready when intent her so I'm going to her house I have a key she gave me since my parents came back I teach her front door it's still locked I walk in and nothing seems out of place I walk up stairs and to her room her door is open and I see a hump on her bed covered in blankets an her alarm clock on the floor kind of broken I walk over in cover her face and shake her
"Addilyne wake up"i say kidding the side of he head
"Mmmm"she mumbles putting her face in her pillow
"Come on wake up"i say shaking her
"No"she says
"We gotta go to school"i tell her
"I'm not going"she huffs turning to lay on her back
"An why is that"i ask smirking
"I'm sick"she says looking at me with squinted eyes
"Are you now"i ask chuckling
"Yes cough cough "she says
"Nope come on"i say pulling off the blanket
"No"she yells kicking her legs up and down and thrashing her body
"Your going"i tell her I walk to her closet and get her a t-shirt and a pair of my sweat pants i left here
I walk over and she is laying there watching me she slept in a tank top and underwear so I slip the pants up her legs and pull her up to stand she stands up and wraps her arms around my torso and puts her face into my chest she says something but I can't hear her
"What"i ask
"Can we please stay home"she asked sticking her bottom lip out
I lean down to kiss her than look at her

"Nope put your shirt on and come on"i tell her
She pick the shirt up and slips it on and rolls up the sweats and goes and slips on some flip flops she floors to her dresser puts her hair up in a bun and puts some eyeliner and mascara on than walks back to me I hold my hand out for her to take when she does I lead her out to my car and we stop for breakfast than go to school.
Addilyne's POV
We are sitting in first block I have no idea why Ryder just wouldn't let me stay home it's just one of those days I could have slept all day staying up an watching tv didn't help it any but hey what you gonna do now I have my head down and Ryder is rubbing my back while mr brown lectures he turns around and taps his little ruler on his desk and if he thinks I'm putting my head up he is sadly mistaken
"Okay class we are going to have a collage student in here for teachers aid for the rest of the week he should be here anytime now so I expect excellent behavior"he says
"That includes you Miss Addilyne so put you head up"he says I completely ignore him
"She's not feeling the best" Ryder says keeping his hand on my back
I'm about to doze off and I hear the door open and mr brown greet the person and than tell the guy to go ahead and introduce himself
"Hi I'm Tyler and I will be the teachers aid for a bit" a voice I would know anywhere my whole body tenses up and I feel sick to my stomach and I know Ryder knows something is up he grapes my hand I raise my head and he hasn't changed a bit
"It can't be"I whisper with tears building up

I just stare blankly at the man that I use to call my brother he is talking to other kids in the class I stand up with Ryder he goes to pull me out but I stop

"How long have you been in college"i ask
"About almost two years now"he smiles
"Oh so around the time you left your sister"i say glaring at him

Ryder comes over and holds my hand

"Yep so after you left me you went and made something big of yourself well I'm proud of you Tyler you always said you wanted to go to collage"i laugh on verge of tears but I'm not gonna let them fall
"Addilyne I know I left-"he tried
"Oh don't worry about you only broke your promise to your little sister that looked up to you you only left the little girl that wanted to be as strong as you but you know she realized after you left"i laugh sadly
"That only cowards break their promises and run"i growl walking out of the room with Ryder still holding my hand
"Baby are you okay" Ryder asks
We made it out to the parking lot to his car
"No"i say quietly starting to cry
Ryder is leaning up against the car and wraps his arms around me with my head in his chest and him whispering sweet nothings in my ear and kissing my head I heard the school doors open than close and I hear footsteps than they stop about ten feet away
"Addilyne"i hear Tyler say
"I think you've done enough already" Ryder growls
"No I want this over" I mumble to him standing on my tippy toes to kiss him
I turn around and look at him
"What" I asked not to politely
"I'm sorry"he says looking desperate
"Really is sorry gonna take back the beatings I had to take because apparently I knew where you where is sorry gonna take back all the tears I cried for months after months when you left is sorry ever gonna take that night away"i say beginning to yell
"I didn't want to leave I meant to come back"he says
"what happened to I promise I wont ever leave you? Huh? Oh you meant to come back what did you forget that you had a sister or did you just not come back because of everything you went through?"i scream

"Don't you fucking lie to me again Tyler I sat at that phone from all hours of the night hoping you would call that number never changed" I yell
"You wanna know how pathetic it got? When I got away I got a house phone in my home and the number is the same damn one as our old one so don't come at me with that bullshit"i say
"Alright I don't have an excuse for leaving I was scared I seen my opportunity to leave and I took it i wasn't thinking"he says
"You wasn't thinking? Well think about this you left me with that monster who would beat me day after day every chance he got every night I would pray to God not to wake up in the morning hoping that I would leave that hell and actually see mom again he would tell me it's your fault she's gone and than hit me harder and tell me everyone will leave me because I'm worthless while you were out actually living I was being beat he almost raped me Tyler and nobody was there to save me I saved myself I hope your life is great I lived the last two years on my own through hell and back without you I can do it for the rest"i say taking Ryder's hand
"Addilyne I'm sorry for leaving you I deserve everything you say but I want to be in your life again please"he begged
"How do I know you'll stay"i ask than get into the car while Ryder does the same and we drive off I stare out the window I can feel myself breaking down I feel Ryder's hand grab mine
