Sick

Ryder's POV
Yesterday was crazy Addilyne is fine now he is now being held at the state prison until his court date she is still sick and throwing up if she isn't better by tomorrow she don't know it but she is going to the doctor
"Ryderrrrrrr"addilyne whined from the living room
I walk into the living room and walk over to her where she is curled up in the corner of the couch
"What baby"i ask sitting beside her and pulling her into my lap I start to rub her back
"I just wanted you"she said laying her head on my chest
She sits up and holds her stomach her face goes white as a sheet I grab the bucket I had there in case she throws up I set it in her lap and rub her back
"It's okay baby" I say soothing
"No" she mumbles
"Your gonna throw up"i tell her I've seen her throw up enough these past few days I know
"No I'm not"she says almost crying
"It's okay"i say quietly
She went to argue back but started to dry heave because she didn't have anything else to throw up after she was done she put her face in my chest I sat there and rubbed her back
I could feel the heat from her face through my shirt and when I felt her back it was burning up I set her down and went to put shoes on we are goin to the doctor today
"Come on baby" I say holding my hand out to her
"Where"she says horse
"To the doctor your not getting no better"i say
"No I don't want to please don't"she says starting to cry
She gets really emotional when she is sick I figured that out
"I'm sorry baby but we have to I'll be there the whole time"i say taking the covers she had wrapped around her body and stood her up
"no" she cried
I just picked her up knowing that we wouldn't get anywhere at this pace she was in a long sleeve shirt and cloth shorts I grabbed her flip flops and went to the car I set her in the front seat and buckled her up and set the flip flops down by her feet and went to get in.
"Just go home"she said squeezing my hand when we started to walk up to the doctor
"No you have to get checked you've been sick to long"i say opening the door for her
We walk in and I tell the receptionist what's wrong she gives me papers to fill out an tells us the doctor will be with us in a few we sit down and i fill the papers out than hand them back to the woman and go sit down Addilyne gets up and sits on my lap she gets really clingy when she is sick
"It's going to be fine baby"i whisper in her ear and rub her back
"No lets go home" she mumbles into my chest
I go to say something when her name is called we walk back the nurse tells us to have a seat in the room the doctor will be with us soon I sit Addilyne on the bed and I go sit on the chair to the side
"Come sit with me please"she asked
"Okay"i say walking over to stand by the bed the bed comes up a little bit over my waist Addilyne leans on me and I sit there and hold her about ten minutes later the doctor came in
"Hi I'm Doctor Wyler what seems to be the problem today" he asked sitting in the rolly chair and wheeling toward Addilyne she just put her face into my chest instead of answering
"She has had a fever and been throwing up for about three days now" I tell him
"Okay let's take your temperature" he says smiling
"Open your mouth please"he says
She looks at him and just sits there
"Addilyne come on open your mouth"i tell her she opens her mouth with a huff he takes her temp after a minute or two it beeps and it says she has 100.6 temp he than puts the stethoscope on her chest and she pulled away he went to do it again and she smacks his hand away
"Miss I need to listen to your heart"he says
"No"she huffs
"Addilyne Storme stop it now"i tell her
She huffs and just sits there he puts it back on her chest and listens than puts it on her back he checks her ears and eyes and asked a couple questions
"Okay it seems to be you have the flu and a upper respiratory infection we will prescribe you two medicines I will be back shortly to give you your discharge papers"he smiles
He walked out the door Addilyne huffed and crossed her arms
"Dick"she mumble
"This attitude needs to go"i tell her
"I didn't want him touching me" she says getting down off the table
"He is helping you addilyne"i tell her
"He is helping you addilyne" she mocked
"Didn't we just go through this the other day"i asked not liking her attitude
"Nope"she said popping the p
"Come here"i say
"Why"she asked
"Just come here"i huff
she walked over and stood in front of me with her arms crossed
"What's with the attitude" I ask
"I didn't want to come here"she says smartly
"You are sick but with attitude it seems to not be bothering you that much"i say
"Blah blah blah is all I hear right now"she says smirking
"Addilyne Storme"i growl
"Awh Ryder lee" she laughs
"Stop now"i grit out
"No"she says
"Yes"i say
"Hell no"she says
"Stop the swearing"i tell her
"Shit" she says
"Addilyne"i say in warning
"Fuck!" She yells
I grab her bicep turn her to the side
*smack smack smack*
I land three smacks on her butt she dances around trying to miss the smacks
"Addilyne stop this right now and I mean it"i say turning her to face me
"oww okay I get it"she says rubbing her butt
The doctor walked back in with the prescriptions and told us when for her to take them and for how long we left and went home I took her upstairs and we laid down
"You know I love you"i asked her
"Yeah"she mumbles
"I love you so much baby"i tell her kissing her
"I love you"she says back laying her head on my chest falling asleep
