Château du Taureau, France
"Now that you know about my niece, you understand you're sworn to secrecy about all of this?" Karina asks the two women standing before her.
Lotus nods before offering her a smile. "We understand. And if she needs any help in the future, we'll offer it. Things are changing, we can sense it in the earth," Lotus murmurs as she carefully holds Wren's hand in hers.
"I feel it as well. I'm pretty sure Lyria is the one who started the change...but honestly, I've felt this before."
"As have we," Lotus says, "but then it stopped."
Karina nods. "And now the feeling is back," she says as she smiles at the couple, "thank you for opening the tunnels again. I won't have you put the door back. Sander and Celeste are old enough now that I can teach them about the tunnels," she murmurs.
"Let us know if you need anything. If you need us to fight the Council again, just call," Lotus says, smiling at Karina who shakes her head.
"Okay, I will. Have a safe trip home, alright?"
Lotus nods. "Of course. And make sure to kick Pierce for me, would you?"
"Already done," Karina assures the Earth Elemental, "it was nice to see the both of you."
"It was nice to see you as well," Wren murmurs, smiling at her wife as Lotus takes their luggage in her hands, "we'll see each other again."
Karina nods. "We will," the woman murmurs before the couple leave through the large front door. Karina turns and walks down the hallway, turning into a large room to see her family gathered together. She smiles fondly as she steps into the room and heads over to her husband.
"Wren and Lotus leave?" Damon asks as she sits beside him.
She nods. "Yes," she murmurs, "and now that you're one step closer to finding out about that drawing...the 'One'. Where are you planning to go now?" Karina asks as she looks at her niece.
Lyria smiles softly before she answers. "After this we'll have to get Fleur, return home and tell everyone about our finds. Then we'll plan on traveling to Egypt," she says before looking at her father, "but I'm not ready to leave yet. I'd like to stay for a while longer...get to know you before I head home. If that's alright..."
Karina takes a deep breath before nodding. "Yes, of course it's alright. I'd like to learn about you too. I know you like photography, at least."
Lyria laughs softly as she looks at her aunt. "Yeah, it's a hobby of mine..."
"More than a hobby, it's your passion," Pierce says, "I only know because architecture was mine. I couldn't help drawing buildings...residential or commercial," he says, smiling fondly.
Karina smiles at her brother before looking at her niece. "Why don't we share something we enjoy doing? I can start," she says and everyone nods in agreement, "well, I enjoy swimming, I also love to cook."
"You're a great cook," Lyria says and the woman laughs.
"I wasn't always. Pierce can attest to that."
"But you're a great cook now. No one ever starts out as a great cook, I didn't," he points out and Karina smiles at her brother before Damon speaks.
"Karina is the best cook in the house. I usually don't cook because I'm not good at it," he admits.
Pierce chuckles before nodding once. "I've taken up fishing, although I'm still trying to figure out which fish is which. Usually Sakari corrects me," Pierce admits, smiling as his sister begins to laugh, "Karina..."
