Bristol, NH

The evening sky stretched out over the earth, dozens of colors illuminating the pale sky as the moon reflected the sun's glow. Lavender irises watch the sky as the Sound Elemental steps out onto the porch. She turns her head when she hears the smallest sound, almost like the sound of footsteps upon the earth.

A blond joins her side, opening his mouth to speak, but she stops him. "What is it?" He asks and she shakes her head before sighing softly.

"It's nothing," she murmurs, "I'm just hearing things now."

"Everyone's on edge, Fleur," he murmurs and she shakes her head before looking up at the Air Elemental.

"How are you doing?" She asks softly as her lavender eyes focus on him.

He inhales softly before releasing the air from his lungs. "Nothing has changed. Still feel the same," he murmurs as she watches him sit, "my sister is dead, and I know nothing can bring her back but..."

The Sound Elemental carefully moves to sit beside him, inhaling deeply before her gaze focuses on him. "Logan, I wish I could tell you that I know how you feel but I don't. All I can tell you is that I'm here. And, if you don't want to talk to me, you can talk to Cassidy. She's-"

"I know who she is," Logan murmurs, "I might talk to her but...honestly I just want to do something."

Fleur nods in response. "So do I," she whispers, "but there's nothing we can do right now other than wait. No one knows where Erika is hiding..."

Logan hums before smiling slightly, his sky blue irises staring at the wooden floor beneath his feet. "When we were little, Amara used to watch old videos of our mother dancing. She had some old tapes of herself from when she was a teen, dancing," he murmurs, "and my sister would try to copy her movements."

Fleur inhales softly as she smiles. "That's a great memory to have," she murmurs, "your sister loved you, Logan. And you'll always love her, that will never go away. And all the memories you have of her will remain."

Logan nods once as he threads his fingers together. "Yeah, at least I have that," he murmurs before looking up, his eyes narrowed at the forest, "did you see that?"

"No, what?" Fleur asks as she turns her head in the direction he's looking, "I thought I'd heard something earlier," she murmurs as her eyes scan the forest, "they couldn't have found us. I've been protecting it with a barrier."

A loud crack resounds from the treeline, and Fleur gasps when she sees a tree hurtling towards them. Logan quickly pushes her to the ground and covers her body as best he can while the large tree crashes into the house.

Fleur inhales shakily before coughing and rubbing her eyes. She opens them to see glass, wood and pieces of cloth around them. "Are you alright?" Logan asks and she nods.

"Yeah, think so," she murmurs as he pulls her up from the ground, "Logan, your arm-"

"I'm fine," he insists, "it's nothing. Oh no, get inside and tell everyone that they're here."

"Logan-"

"Go now!" He orders and she watches as a small group of people begin to step out of the woods. She looks at Logan one more time before stepping into the house, past the large tree.

"Mom! They're here!" Fleur yells as several people begin to crowd around the large tree.

"Oh no," Delilah murmurs, "alright, everyone who is able, get ready," she tells them, "how many are out there?"
