Bordeaux, France

"Bonjour," Fleur murmurs, smiling when Amara responds in kind.

"So, my brother drove you around the other day, did he even stop to show you anything?" Amara asks as she grabs a piece of fruit.

Fleur smiles softly before nodding. "He did. Bordeaux is quite beautiful."

Amara shrugs. "It has some good qualities."

"You barely go anywhere except to abandoned homes and other places," Adrian says as he enters the dining room, "hey Fleur. How's it going?"

"It's going well, and yourself?"

"You guys are too formal for my taste," Amara mutters before she exits the dining room.

Fleur smiles softly before taking a deep breath. "I'm doing fine," Adrian responds, "as you can see, my sister and Logan's would rather stay in their rooms all day long."

"But at night?" Fleur asks.

Adrian sighs. "Exactly. I've got no idea what they do at night. Except for sneaking out, that whole bit. Logan told me about it," he explains, "did he...tell you anything about..."

"He doesn't talk to me about others. He keeps your secrets, and he keeps Amara's as well. He never told me about the going out at night," she assures him before offering him a small smile.

Adrian chuckles before smiling slightly. "Well, that's good to know," he says as Logan walks into the dining room, "morning. You slept in...for once."

Logan shrugs, smiling at his friends before grabbing some coffee. "I was up late," he says.

Fleur smiles as he sits beside her. She pushes her two-toned hair out of her eyes before looking at Logan. He offers her a smile, and she laughs softly before looking away from him.

"The two of you are very obvious," Adrian points out, "it's especially obvious to your parents."

Logan hums. "It's not like we're trying to hide anything," Logan says as he grabs a plum from the fruit bowl in the center of the table. He holds it out to Fleur who smiles and takes it from him.

"Thank you," she murmurs, "I love plums."

Logan clears his throat before shrugging. "Yeah, that's why I uh...offered it to you."

Fleur laughs softly before shaking her head. "You're impossible."

"That's good, right?"

"And that's my cue to leave," Adrian says as he stands from his chair, "the two of you-"

"Don't start or else I'll start in on you and your relationship," Logan threatens with an eyebrow raised. Adrian groans before leaving the dining room.

Fleur takes a deep breath before searching Logan's face. "Could we go out later? There's something I'd like to share with you. But I can't share it here," she murmurs and he nods in understanding.

"Of course. Where would you like to go?"

"Somewhere that won't be so populated," she says and he smiles, a knowing look on his face.

"I know a place."

A soft breeze filtered over Pont de Pierre bridge, making small waves along the river below. The Garonne river has turned brown over the decades, but it's still beautiful in its own way.

"Pont de Pierre," Logan murmurs as he leads Fleur to the nineteenth century style fencing, "so, what did you want to talk about?" He asks as she rests her hands on the fence.
