"You know his name?"

I asked Ryan, my heart grew cold and confused.

"I-"

He started before my dad hung up the call and he handed the phone back to me

"How do you know him"

I asked with tears still in my eyes

"You said it"

He blurted out

"When?"

I asked. I guess its possible but i would never call my dad by his real name

"Im sorry. I think i meant to say I've met him before"

That would make sense. Dad did go on a lot of business trips. Maybe they met before

I smiled to him and he nodded, letting out a breath he had been holding in

Coming over to me he stroked my tears away before pulling his hand away

"What was that about"

"My dads cutting me off. Hes cancelling my apartment rent i have to be out in four weeks"

I explained as i shedded more tears

I trusted my dad

"I couldnt possibly. I will be looking for apartments. Ill be out within a week"
