Coming down from working in the office so i could make dinner for everyone i froze

Going to the living room i sighed as i saw the fattest dog ever sleeping whilst our sweetheart was setting up a little pen

"Trinette"

I said lowly. I don't have the energy for this today. But when she shot me a sweet smile i couldnt help but take a breath and instantly be calmed

"Meet daisy! Im fosterdopting her"

She said, smiling at her made up word

"What."

I asked trying to remain Calm

I don't like animals very much

I struggle with James's Cat enough as it is

"Im fostering her but it might turn into an adoption! Shes pregnant and a shelter is no place for a dog to give birth"

She said lovingly as she came over and kissed my cheek

"You wont adopt her"

I said gruffly as i went to the kitchen

Its been a long day

I heard footsteps down the stairs and turned around. Wanting to see my friends reaction to this creature that has been brought into our home

Not to mention she'll give birth to many little creatures

"I did! I couldnt just leave her there!"

Sweetheart looked to him as she went back up to taking over the living room and setting up a pen

"And who will look after her?"

"I will! Ill do my very best for her"

Milo grumbled

"Dont be so rude. Shes with pups. Six to be exact."

She said snarkily to milo earning a scowl

"Trinket."

He spoke lowly and directly to her

"Milo?"

She asked with a sweet smile

He said before going over and whispering things that made her face turn bright red and shut her up immediately

"Oh my god is that a dog??!!!"

James smiled as he rushed over to the hairy creature

"Yes! Her name is daisy! Shes going to have pups any day now and i couldnt leave her at the shelter."
