Sixty One

"Leo"

I greeted our friend as Oliver came storming over to greet Leo

"Who's the pretty lady"

He asked, causing James to chuckle

"That's our girl. Trinette"

James informed our friend. He had been by our side for years. We met him at one of these Christmas parties.

"Leo."

Oliver stated his name as he came and protectively put an arm around our girl

Leo has a....history of stealing people's girlfriends

Never ours. But it usually goes:

Girl breaks up with boyfriend

Leo finds out

Leo pounces

Leo gets girl.

So Oliver was obviously not taking any chances

But i trust Leo. He knows boundaries

"Hi! I'm Trinette"

Our girl smiled to him and he pulled up a chair

"Nice to meet you Trinette - Leonardo"

He smiled at he outstretched his hand for her to shake

She shook her hand before her phone rang and she excused herself from the conversation

I answered the phone to find out that i was moved from my job because I haven't attended in months. They moved me to the conservation documentary department where I wouldn't go away for half a year. Id still go away! But for less time.

Being away from my guys was awful. I don't know how id manage, or they'd manage, without me anyways

It hurts. But i can't leave my guys again. It hurt me too much.

I went back to the table and sat down in my seat again

Leo seems cool.

We talked before the lights dimmed and someone stood up to speak

They made a short speech before there was an auction

"Get what you want babygirl"

James said as he handed me a paddle and I smiled excitedly

I've never been to an auction before

The first item they auctioned was of interest to me

A Cello

I wanted to learn an instrument since a young age and this is my chance

The Cello was supposedly very old and used by some famous person I'd never heard of.

Hesitating my hand, Ryan nudged it up. Making the decision for me

I gasped in shock when they said how much it would cost me. I was too caught up in a budding war with my men chuckling behind me that i turned red when I heard how much it had cost them

"Oops..."

I mumbled before Liam praised me on my first auction purchase

"Spend as much as you want. We have the money"

Oliver told me as i nodded

It took away a little of the guilt but not loads.

I also managed to get a full nail kit and a signed book by my favourite author

I spent wayyy too much. But my guys didn't seem to mind, in fact - they encouraged it

We made our way to the place where the auction was taking place after it had ended and collected our stuff

My guys hadn't got anything but happily collected my stuff and paid. I winced as i heard the price

Oops

We arranged for delivery to our house before enjoying the rest of the evening

And then a pretty girl came up and Liam hugged her

And something inside me wasn't happy

Jealousy

"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name"

I asked the girl and the guys shot me a look. They must've caught onto the jealousy

"Maria. Who are you."

She asked judgementally

"Trinette. Why are you hugging my boyfriend"

I asked her and she looked to Liam and back at me.

"Trinette. This is Maria. My ex wife's sister"

Liam sighed and I looked to him

His ex wife?

I need time to process this

"She didn't know?"

Maria said to Liam before pulling him into another hug as my eyes welled up

"Trinket?"

Milo asked and i sighed before getting up

I need air

Of course, of course these men have had people before me. But it took me by complete suprise

I went outside for some fresh air before Oliver came over to me

"You Okay?"

He asked me and i nodded

"Yea, it just took me by suprise"

I sniffled

"I understand that. They're close, but Maria is married. She's a loyal wife. You have nothing to worry about"

"Liam's ex wife...what happened"

I asked and he shook his head

"That's not my story to tell. But please don't get angry at Liam..."

He asked and I nodded

"Of course."

I sighed as he took me to the bathroom to help fix my makeup. When we got back everyone was dancing

"Care for a dance"

I was asked, catching me by suprise
