And then she fell.
She just had to do it.
Her body kind of went limp though, like she didn't have the strength anymore.
All the witnesses didn't know there had been anyone on the roof, even though she had been sitting on the edge, crying for over an hour.
Her dad was the first to find out, getting a call on his cell phone from the hospital, his baby girl had died.
He couldn't do anything at first... He asked the hospital to call his wife and gave them the number she would answer, knowing he wouldn't be able to do it himself. He sat in his car, waiting for a while until he felt it would be safe to drive. He had to keep pulling over so he wouldn't crash due to his eyes being unable to stop shedding tears.
Her mom, her "mommy", had been picking up her younger sister and brother from school. She was waiting in the car line...
They left her siblings with her moms best friend, promising them they'll be home the next day.
Her parents spent all night at the hospital, she had been gone, but they still hung around her room... the doctors and nurses kept their distance.
Her parents couldn't hold it back.
She had been their oldest.
She had been doing so well.
They didn't know.
No one knew...
