And then he smacked her to the ground.
She let out more cries, unable to produce screams because she was in shock and chocking on her sobs.
He promised her he would stop.
He promised he'd be nice again.
He promised to work through it.But she was just so stupid, so terrible, she made him a bad guy.
And he hated how she made him feel, so he got back at her by punching her, hitting her, kicking her when she fell over on the ground.
She'd start crying and shaking and he'd leave her.
Until he came back, until he apologized and promised to be better again and again and again.
She couldn't get away from him, no matter how hard she tried.
He took her to his apartment and made dinner for her to say sorry. He asked if she'd let him back into her life, he needed her so he could hold on to reality. She has to understand.
"No."
No?
No.And then he pulled her to the ground by her hair, she doesn't understand, he needs her!
She was able to barely grasp a knife from the table and tried to jab at his arm, but he flung her away from him anyway.
She sobbed and looked out at the night sky through a large window. She stood up and looked at him, he would never leave her alone if she lived.
She ran towards the window and shielded her eyes from the glass. Flailing in the air as she fell six stories.
And then instead of him hitting her, she hit the ground.
