And then she was hit.
The car swung around a few times, its passengers completely at a loss.
The scene that took place on the busy highway at nightfall was a dismal one, as five were injured in the accident, and one other, dead.The news said he died after serious internal bleeding and a hard hit to the head. He had apparently walked onto the highway after running out of a forest, which on the other side there is a small suburban neighborhood where it is assumed the boy lives.
Lived.
She did live there, in a sense. She did her best to sleep there, ate there when she was allowed to, but she wouldn't call it living. She was escaping the torture of her family, she was tortured there. Her family that starting hurting her, touching her, abusing her, once she asked them to use she/her pronouns.
And then she was hit.
Her family sat down for a moment. Her sister and her mother, they talked about it and realized that no one would know the truth. No one would know how he felt, why he killed himself, and no one ever could or they, his family, would be in trouble.Of course, the truth came out, her body was examined and the bruises and inexplainable broken bones were revealed. Her mother told the truth, and in court it came to light that he, was a she, and while the court respected it under the circumstances, it was obvious the mother did not. She was sent to jail. She lost her daughter to a juvenile detention system. She would often cry out about losing her only daughter, her dearest child, and be reminded by the disgusted inmates and guards that she let the other daughter die.
