After being pulled out of her shock, Chika followed the two boys to the center of the carnival. From this angle, she could see that the school was a lot bigger than she thought. There was an animal head with bright colors engraved into the middle of the building. It was difficult for her to make out what type of animal it was, however. Her thoughts were interrupted by her new classmates.

"Heyyy, Earth to Chika! You there?" The white-haired boy cupped his hands over his mouth to gain more volume.

" Oh yes! I'm okay." She reassured him. He only shook his head and rested his hands on his hips.

"I never asked if you were okay, but it's nice to know. Oh, you don't know our names do you?" Chika decided to ignore that first comment.

"My name's Jun Hanzou. My talent doesn't matter." He closed his pale gray-yellow eyes in a teasing matter. His tone and smile were playful and held no seriousness to them at all.

"I'm Syouji Yuuchi. The, uh, Ultimate Sloth." said the brunette rubbing his neck shyly, his pale green eyes gazing at the floor. His hair was cut strangely. As if the person who cut it couldn't be bothered to do a better job at it.

'Hang on... Ultimate what?', Chika looked at the boy with a confused face. He glanced at her and shrunk back into himself. As if Syouji could read her mind, he answered, "It's lame, I know. Just try not to question how that managed to be an official title."

Chika, still a little flabbergasted, let go of the subject and decided to ask a new question.

"Okay then. So, is this a school or what? I'm sorta confused." the girl took a few curious steps toward the tall building. It certainly looked like a school from some angles however, there was something a bit off about it. There was a sinister vibe radiating from the school. Or maybe that was just the creepy animal head?

"Wanna look inside? There's some cool stuff in there I got to show you!" Jun asked, trying to persuade her. Chika looked at him blankly before giving him a stern look.

"Remember what I'm here for. This place is super suspicious and I'm here to investigate in case something bad happens." She reminded them. This soured Jun's expression by a bit until it turned into a pout.

"Yeah yeah, we know..." Jun said, sighing childishly.

"Let's tour around the outside first and get that out of the way. There's a lot to see so take notes, Chika." Syouji jumped in. The other two agreed on this idea and started their tour.

-EXPLORATION: START-

The trio started at the best part of a circus carnival; The merry-go-round. There's nothing entirely special about it except the fact that the horse's heads were replaced by lambs. It was a little disturbing.

"Creepy, right?" Jun chuckled. He nudged Chika's shoulder softly making her turn to him. "Wanna take a ride?"

"Maybe another time." Chika sweatdropped. She had brought out a notepad covered in little music note stickers and flipped to the first page. She began to sketch out the strange attraction, the two boys looming over her shoulder to see not going unnoticed.

Suddenly, she slammed the book shut whilst attacking the two with air. They jumped back in shock.

'It certainly is weird to have an entire attraction ride here. I'm assuming this only one of who knows how many.' Chika thought to herself, examining the ride a final time.

"You done?" Jun asked.

"Yeah, let's go."

"Eh? That was fast!" The boys followed behind her as she went to the next interesting ride.

"I'd rather not waste too much time. You said there was a lot to see, right?" the pinkette stood in front of a small red rollercoaster.

"Ah, we're gonna be here a while aren't we?" Syouji whined, his form slumped over. Jun only laughed at his friend's laziness and pat him on the back.

"Don't worry, I just want to become familiar with the place is all," Chika reassured him. She sketched the rollercoaster and moved on to the next.

The brunette sighed in despair once more.

After some more exploration, the trio stopped at a stand selling plushies. In front of the stand stood a small teenage girl. She had brown hair tied into one pigtail, adorned with a bell. She was wearing a black gothic lolita dress with pale yellow accents. She seemed to be looking at one of the plushies. As they approached her, Chika could see that the plushies varied from a monochrome bear, a pink and white bunny, a white bear covered in bandages, a black bear with golden teeth, five tinier bears that varied in bright colors, and a monochrome sheep.

"Hey, Ayako! You need help?" Jun, being the energetic child he is, ran up to her loudly. The smaller girl however was having none of it and elbowed him straight in the gut.

"Was that really necessary?" Syouji mumbled as he and Chika sweat dropped. Even thought the girl was small she sure could pack a punch.

'I've got to remember not to get on her bad side.' Chika examined her carefully, taking out her trusty notepad to write down notes about her new classmate.

"So, who is this new girl? You kidnap her or something?" Ayako asked snarky, putting one hand on her hip. Since poor Jun was currently suffering, Syuoji had to muster up the courage to answer her.

"Um no. She's a transfer student," he averted her gaze and scratched his neck nervously, "we were simply giving her a tour."

Ayako furrowed her eyebrows for a moment. Almost as if she was trying to see if she could trust his word. This time Chika decided to jump in.

"My name is Chika. I'm the Ultimate Dancer. Nice to meet you!" She did her best to seem warm and welcoming which softened Ayako's expression. Eventually she dropped her suspicion with a sigh.

"Pleasure meeting you, Chika. As you have heard, my name is Ayako Suzuki. I'm the Ultimate Doll maker." She offered her hand to shake. Chika shook it with a pleasant smile.

The two girls seemed to have a nice connection already, much to the boy's surprise.

"I can already tell you two are going to be great friends. Aww, I'm so jealous." Jun pressed the back of his hand toward his forehead in a dramatic fashion. He leaned on Syouji, who would rather not be here at all.

"Well, we have to continue our tour. See you around Ayako!" Chika waved at her new best friend. The brunette waved back with an closed smile.

"See ya! And good luck with those two."

The trio continued their little tour around the colorful carnival.
