A new friend! [OLD]

1st POV

"Where's the teacher?"

I was sitting in my desk, drawing random things on a piece of paper. My other classmates were.... Well... They went on a trip. I do miss them, of course.

I sighed.
'What a waste'

"Hello ther-*thump* OW!"

I jumped at the sudden noise. My fight or flight response kicking in, I jumped out of my chair.

"H-hey...uhh you okay?"

But of course, it's not just fight or flight. No no no no- it's fight, flight, or care. It just happens sometimes...
People say I'm *too* caring. What a waste..

Soon the person came from behind the front desk. He was teenage like me with brown hair. He was wearing a dark green vest and white tie.

'Am I staring?'

He let go of his head and looked up at me. I swear his eyes lit up as he saw me. In a swift movement, he was right in front of me awkwardly leaning on my desk.

"Hello new friend! It is I, your teacher's son!"

"H-his wha-"

"Well, half son but it's not his fault!"

"..."

"Okay, maybe it is but-"

We heard a door being open abruptly. Soon, my teacher ran in the classroom.

"Kyaki! Kyaki, where-"

He then turned to us and... Well we just stared at each other. Then Kyaki broke the silence.

"Heya, dad! Meet my new bestfriend.. Uh"

He put his arm around my neck and hung on tightly.

"Oh uh... Inuki Shoji."

Kyaki hugged me. I started to panic. Was he putting something on my back? My teacher sighed.

"Inuki, I'm sorry about my son. He's *very* touchy with he's new friends. That's also why he doesn't have much friends..."

Kyaki pouted and let go of me.

"Daaaaaad!"

I just laughed this scene unfold.

"No worries, Mr. Tsumo! It's nice to have a new friend.."

Mr. Tsumo just gave me a relieved smile and went to the front desk.

Kyaki stopped pouting and held both my hands with his.

"Hey! Can I show you a card trick?"

Kyaki Tsumo. My new classmate and bestfriend.. Having only knew him for a few minutes and I could already trust him.

"... Yeah.. Sure!"

He smiled at me. I wonder if he likes video games..
