Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane walk along the pathway, arriving to their destination. The smell of fish was prominent, along with the scent of the salty sea. The village made of wood on water.
"Welcome to Stiix. Watch your step." A fishermen tells them as he suddenly pulls in a fish. "Oh, I caught one. It's a big fella. Ugh, whoa.Whoa!" He yelps as he's pulled into the Endless Sea. "Ugh. Dagnabbit." He surfaces from the cold water, shivering and spitting out the water.
The others watch with concerned gazes as the Red Ninja sits down, his gaze flitting around nervously along the village.
"I didn't know you were afraid of heights." Jay frowns, watching as Kai swallow hard, looking at the water nervously.
He shakes his head. "I'm fine with heights. It's water I hate." He spares a glance at the sea, frowning deeply as he imagined all the horrible ways to suffer, drown and die.
"Didn't seem to have a problem before." Zane points out as they start walking towards the town.
Kai sighs. "Before I could make a Fire Dragon at will. Since Morro's taken over Lloyd and our powers gone, I haven't felt - Aagh!" A plank breaks under him but Cole pulls him up. "Well, now that we know ghosts don't like water either, at least we should feel safe surrounded by it." The Earth Ninja says, giving all of them a look.
Jay scrunched his nose up as they arrive, noting the broken houses, the scent of trash and salt water, and the barely built up shops. "Ugh, what a dump. You'd think the thief who stole the Scroll of Airjitzu would have better taste." He looks around the village on water.
"Uh, this is Ronin we're talking about." Cole says as they walk through the streets. "He'd steal the sea if it were worth anything. We just have to figure out which rock he's under and get to the Scroll before Morro does." He nods firmly.
Zane looks at them. "Let's split up and start looking." They arrive at a pawn shop after a while and start searching around.
Cole blinks as they look around, picking up a trophy. "Wait minute, this is my dad's Blade Cup trophy. What's it doing in a pawn shop?" He asks with furrowed brows.
Kai raised an eyebrow, not impressed at all. He looks around the old store. "Selling stolen goods? Ha, sounds like we might have stumbled on the right place." He chuckled.
Ronin whistles as he, carrying a vase in his arms, enters his shop casually.
Jay narrowed his eyes. "Ronin." He states, crossing his arms.
Ronin blinks. "Huh?"
Jay cocked an eyebrow. "Going so soon?" He says in a taunting voice.
Ronin laughs nervously, backing up. "If this is about our last encounter, it was only business." He gives them a rogish grin.
