Once outside I took a deep breath in and slowly let it go. I'm going miss this place. Bye mom and dad...bye Buster I will miss you. I walked out into the side walk when I saw a guy leaning against my car "hey what do you think you are doing that's my car!!" I was getting ready to strike when my aunt appeared "its ok Caitlin. He's here with me. This my neighbor john he gave me a ride here. John this is Caitlin." She smiled and hugged the man clearly there was something going on between the two. I couldn't help but smile seeing my aunt happy.

"well I have all my stuff packed and ready to go. I just have to make a few stops before we go ok." Judy looked at her for a long time before answering "ok dear. Ill be here doing some last minute things with the house. Your school information has been sent to the new school. They gave you a week off if you want to take it." She gave me a tight hug "tell Amy I said hi"

It was a quick drive to Amy's. she stood outside pacing waiting for me. She nearly yanked me out the car before I put it in park. "oh Caitlin you cant go. Im so sorry for what happened. Are you ok.. of course not that was a stupid question. Come inside my folks aren't home for once." I dug my heels into the ground "Amy wait. I cant I only have a minute. I just wanted to say bye. I will miss you" my eyes began to sting again, fighting back the tears I gave Amy a hug "ill text you once im settled in" I turned around and left. I knew in my gut Amy wouldn't message me like she use to.

Today I was losing everything. I started my car and drove to the animal hospital. "hello, my dog might be here she was hurt" the lady behind the desk looked up from the computer " ah yes you must he Caitlyn, im sorry to hear about your family. The nice officer who brought her in stayed with lily. Right this way" she led me to one of the examining rooms were a doctor was with lily giving her a shot. " hello I'm Dr. Hou lily is one lucky pup she made it through the hard part. She will be sore for a few days. I will subscribe you some meds to give her for the pain and change her bandages daily. She will make a full recovery" I smile relieved to know I at least still have lily.

I gently placed her in the car and drove home to say a last farewell to the home I grew up in and a hello to my new one in the middle of nowhere land where absolutely nothing fun happens or so I've heard when my aunt told my mom about it when she first moved there. John and my aunt Judy were waiting for me at the house "are you ready to go sweetie?" she smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes John gets up and kisses aunt Judy on the cheek I'll in the car he embraces me in a much needed hug and leaves. Me and aunt Judy head to my car and follow John to my new life.
