"Nance?" The voices were still somewhat muddled and grey in her scrambled mind as she drifted in an out of consciousness,now in the safety of Robins arms and Eddies trailer,which thankfully wasn't the one in the upside down."Nance,we need you to talk to us,"Steve urged,leaning closer to the girl.She only glanced at him and closed her eyes weakly,as if she wasn't with them completely yet.

They had carried her out of the upside down after Vecna reentered her mind and she couldn't seem to wake up.It was half an hour of them sitting around her,hoping that her eyelids would stop twitching,but when they did,they didn't flutter open to greet them with their sparkle and their deep ocean colour,they stayed shut.For a moment all of them thought that they wouldn't be able to bear to take her dead body from the upside down,but then her eyes merely turned into open slits and her rambling questions were silenced with Robins touch as they overjoyed at her being alive.

It was more difficult trying to put her through the gate,but they had help.Even though the kids denied any sort of spying on them with the use of El's powers,they were all waiting for the four on the other side of the trailer,their hands reaching out to pull them.As much as it pained Steve to think about the fact that these kids thought they had to help,he was secretly grateful that at least it was guaranteed that they wouldn't just let him and his friends die if something like this happened again.

"Stop asking her stuff,she clearly doesn't want to speak about anything yet,"Robin hissed,causing Steve to stop his nagging and leave her in peace.Talk about protective girlfriend.

"What's up with them two?"Erica queried once they had cleared from the main part of the living room and into the kitchen to give the girls space."Who,Robin and Nance?"Steve tried playing as stupid as possible but he was sure that the girl could smell his bullshit lies from a hundred miles away."No,Eddie and his guitar,"she paused,giving him a dead pan look,"yes Robin and Nancy,what do they have going on?"
"Oh yeah I was also going to ask,"Max piped up,somehow stuffing her mouth with a dry cookie she must've found in a cupboard.

He almost let it slip,let the words tumble out of his mouth so that they were presented in front of them on a silver platter with a little silver spoon for scooping up the information in bits.Robin and Nancy are dating.It would be so easy just to tell them,and once it was said they would either grimace in disgust or grimace in disgust in private,whispering about it at night.He kept his mouth sealed though,which is what a decent person would do so he didn't expect applause from anyone.

"Don't know,"he shrugged,picking up one of the stale cookies,"wait,Red,aren't you meant to be helping El regain her powers?"With that Max rushed from the kitchen and into the unlocked bathroom,in which Eleven was sitting on the floor,her back hunched as she held her head in her hands.The girl brought her to the sink and began to take some of the dried blood off her face with a damp towel,a few fresh drops still leaving her nose.

In the dark living room,Nancy continued to lay against Robin.Both of them had changed into some of Eddies old clothes seeing as theirs smelled of absolute shit,which was nice of him because at least they didn't feel as disgusting anymore.From a distance they could hear Eddie playing some riffs on his guitar for the rest of the kids,who sat looking more in awe than when they went into another dimension.Lucas and Dustin were almost passed out on the floor though,the only thing keeping them from falling asleep being the music,whilst Will tried convincing Eddie to let him try play as well.Mike was just there,mumbling some stuff to himself.
