Your POV
By the time it turned 5:30 you and Lottie were already hanging out in her room. The dress Lottie had picked out for you was a silky material with long sleeves and f/c (check dress above just without the slit,) and it was actually quite nice.
Lottie's wedding dress was a bubblegum pink colour, with baby pink underskirts, white lacing at the collar and roses differentiating the layers. And although it was meant to be a wedding dress, Lottie of course found some way to make it pink.
You helped Charlotte get ready after putting on your own dress, helping her with the corset and her hair and makeup. It was enjoyable, honestly, it's been a while since you and Lottie had gotten a chance to hang out like this.
Tiana's absence, however, had your stomach in a knot. And, with how much you had grown to love Dr. Facilier, the thought of him being there had made it worse.
For the sake of Lottie, however, you forced on a smile; it's not like you had to be there very long, right? Well, you'd soon find out just how terribly wrong you were.
But, neither of you had to get on the float for another half an hour, which gave you plenty of time to procrastinate.
For starters, you were still curious as to who this man was. The one that Dr. Facilier had informed you wasn't the Prince, but gave no other context. But, that was part of the reason why you were so uncomfortable. The thought of Lottie trying to marry some guy she doesn't even actually know made you nervous.
But, all you could do was wait and see how things turned out in the end...
(A/N: Nothing much, just a little filler chapter. Sorry for taking so long to get a chapter out, but I had this one started a while ago and just wasn't sure how to continue it. But uh, yeah, I'll try to get the next one out soon and thank you guys for being so patient with me. I hope you all have a great day/night, bye!)
