First Dates....as Friends?

•*•*• Sophie's P.O.V. •*•*•

"Why is he asking me on a date if he's with Danielle?" I ask still puzzled about this.

"Maybe it's not like a date date." Michelle suggested.

"Then what is it?" I ask rolling my eyes. Why else would he ask to go on a DATE if it wasn't a date?

" Maybe he couldn't think of a better word to use so he used date. Maybe he is just asking you out as a friend." Michelle said. Maybe she's right. Maybe he is just asking me out as a friend. I'm sure they have to leave soon to go back to England anyway.

"Yea maybe you're right." I say getting up to go get my outfit ready. I have two hours before Liam will be here.

•••••••TWO HOURS••••••••••

"C'mon Michelle hurry up!! He's going to be here any minute and I don't want him to have to wait because you want my hair to be perfect!" I half said half yelled at Michelle.

"Just give me one more minute. This stupid piece of hair won't do what I want it to!!" She yelled as she practically stabbed my head with the bobby pin.

"OWW!! Jeez you don't have to kill me just because my hair won't do what you want!" I said rubbing my head in pain.

"Sorry. But it worked. Your hair is perfect now!" She said with a smile.

"Thank you!" I said giving her a hug and walking out to the living room.

"Oh you look gorgeous!" My mom said. I was wearing my dark skinny jeans with my white Aeropostale t-shirt that hung off my shoulder. I had a pink tank top underneath and my silver sequin moccasins to top it off. My hair was straight and some of it was pulled back in bobby pins.

A few minutes after my mom stopped freaking out about me going on a date and saying to be extra careful the doorbell rang.

"He's here. Thanks Michelle! Bye mom!" I said hugging Michelle and my mom before walking down to my front door.

"Hey" I said with a smile after opening the door. Liam was wearing his famous plaid button down shirt with khakis and white converse.

"Hey! You look beautiful!" He said. "You ready to go?"

"Yea! Lets go!" I said stepping out and closing the door. "So where are we going?"

"Well I would normally say its a surprise but I don't really know what's around here. I was going to ask you if you may have a certain place you want to go for dinner and then we can maybe go see a movie?" He asked kind of worried.

"Yes that sounds great! And don't worry about asking me where to go. I understand that you don't know much of what's around here." I said reassuring him that everything was fine.

He smiled as he helped me into the car then got in on the drivers side and started driving.

••••••••20 MINUTES LATER••••••••

I told him there was a really good French restaurant a few minutes away, so we went there for dinner.

"So do you want to still go see a movie?" Liam asked a little hopeful.

"Yeah. There is a movie theatre close by we can go there." I said with a smile.

"Great let's go." Liam said once again helping me into the car and getting in on his side.

"Hey Liam can I ask you something?"

"Anything"

" I know this is just a 'friends hanging out' date but why did you ask me? I mean if you are with Danielle then won't she get jealous? Especially if she doesn't even know you asked. I don't want to be the one that ruined things between you two."

Liam sighed before he pulled into a parking space of the movies and answered, " Look Sophie. Danielle and I aren't together. That was just management saying we had to be seen together on the streets while we were in New York. Ever since then Danielle has been hanging on me like we are back together and it wasn't just for management. I promise you that Danielle and I aren't together. I don't like her at all anymore. There are no feelings what so ever for her anymore. Ever since I met you I can't stop thinking about you. Even though we only met yesterday. There is something different about you. I have never felt the things I feel for you about any other girl before. I asked you on a real date not just a 'friends hanging out date' " I can't believe everything he just said to me. How can it be possible that he has such strong feelings for me already? I just sat there shocked and speechless for a few seconds before I recovered.

"Wow Liam. I-I-"

"You don't have to say anything. It's ok." He said a little disappointed but then he smiled. "Do you want to go in and watch the movie?"

"Yeah." I said smiling back at him.

Liam had put a hoodie on and some sunglasses.

"Liam you know it's dark out here. I don't think you need those." I said laughing.

"Yeah I know. It's just something to disguise me so we don't get mobbed."

"Oh I see." I said linking my arm with his as we walked into the theatre.

Once we got into the actual theatre the movie was playing in he took off his sunglasses but he kept his hoodie on. I had convinced him to watch Warm Bodies with me. It wasn't too much convincing but at least we are here watching it.

"Are you crying?" Liam whispered to me halfway through the movie.

"No. Maybe. Yes." I whispered back wiping a tear that had rolled down my cheek. Liam gently put his arm around me and I snuggled into his chest through the rest of the movie.

As we walked out of the theatre Liam had looked over at me and then wiped a tear that just fell.

"Still crying? I didn't think it was that bad." Liam said chuckling.

I laughed and said, "I always cry at stupid sappy movies."

"Well how about we get you home then." He said laughing a little more before offering me his arm. I took it an we walked out of the movie theatre back to the car.

•••••••30 MINUTES LATER•••••••

Finally we reached my house. Liam got out and walked around to help me out of the car. What a gentleman!

"Well I had a great night. Thank you so much for this date Liam."

"No thank you. If you wouldn't have said yes I honesty don't know what I would've done."

"So I'll see you soon?"

"Yeah."

Before I could turn to go into my house Liam grabbed my wrist and stopped me.

"Hey Soph?"

"Yeah?"

"I wanted to ask before I did anything so you wouldn't get mad but is it ok if I.." Liam didn't even have to finish the sentence for me to know what he was asking.

"Yes you can" I said laughing a little.

As soon as Liam's soft lips came in contact with mine I got sparks. It was perfect. I felt like I was right where I belong and there is no other place that I could be. Right here right now is the only place I want to be. I want to know that with Liam I will be safe and perfect in his arms.

Hello lovelies!!!:) I'm super super super sorry I haven't updated in a long time! I was busy and then I had personal problems I was dealing with then I went to my dads house and he doesn't have wifi! It's just been crazy!!

OMG!! I can't believe that the Take Me Home tour has started!!! I really wish I could go but there is always future tours right?

Welp I hope you like this chapter. I'm not good at writing about dates so thats why there isn't that much of the actual date in here. Please comment and vote and follow me!!
