Heartache and Planes

*** Zayn's P.O.V. ***

As I sat in the car for our journey back home I couldn't keep my mind away from Natalie. She's a beautiful girl. Beautiful green eyes. Gorgeous long, blond hair. She was perfect in my eyes and I can't bare to say goodbye to her tomorrow. I don't think I can say goodbye. I know I will have to eventually, but not tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm not saying goodbye.

*** Sophie's P.O.V. ***

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I was not ready to get up and face what came ahead. I don't want to leave. I don't want to say goodbye. I know we will all be back together soon, but I just wish I didn't have to go now.

I managed to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I didn't do much to get ready since I'll be on a plane for almost nine hours. I put on a pair of sweat pants and a comfy hoodie. I threw my hair up in a messy bun not caring at all. I then brushed my teeth and moved on to make sure I had everything packed and ready.

As I walked back out into the main room I saw everyone still asleep. I grew frustrated because I was already tired and if they don't wake up we'll be late for our flight. I woke them all up making sure they were awake before I went down to the lobby to see if the cafe was open yet.

When I got down there I saw it was open which made me happy. I don't have to get food at the airport now. I decided I would stay down there and eat instead of going back up. As I sat there I looked around the lobby and the cafe. I came across a rack of magazines. One of the covers had the boys on it and the caption was talking about their tour. I picked up the magazine and searched for that article.

The page read, "One Direction may have pushed back the tour a couple of weeks, but that doesn't mean they've canceled it. Liam Payne's "girlfriend", Sophie Prescott, was the reason the tour was pushed back. Now since Miss Prescott has been recovering we've heard from an insider that she's joining the boys on their American leg of the tour."

How do they get their information so fast!? I only told the boys yesterday! I'll probably never know. I put the magazine back and threw away my trash. I then walked back to the elevator to go back up to the room.

When I got up there everyone was packing a few last things for our flight home.

"Is everyone good? Does everyone have everything?" My mom asked taking one last look around to make sure there's nothing left behind.

"Yeah. I think that's everything." Natalie said. We all then grabbed our bags and walked out of our room and down to the lobby.

"Aren't you guys going to eat before the flight?" I asked them.

"Yeah we'll get something at the airport." My mom said as we stepped out of the elevator and into the lobby. "Why don't you guys just grab a seat while I check out." We all walked to the chairs in the middle of the lobby and sat down.

"When is Liam supposed to be here?" Michelle asked.

"He should be here any minute." just as I said that my mom finished checking out and Liam pulled up out front. Perfect timing. We walked out to put our things in the car and head off to the airport. We all piled into the car and started our journey home.

We pulled up to the airport and Liam helped us get all of our bags out of his car. Once we walked in we were welcomed by tons of fans. They were lined up on both sides of the door. Towards the back of the group I saw a man dressed in a black coat, a beanie, and sunglasses heading for security. He kind of creeped me out. I just hope he's not on our flight.

As we walked through to get to security I heard the fans screaming. I heard them screaming Liam's name, my name, and Michelle and Natalie's names. One of them said,"Who's the other lady!?" I just laughed to myself and then looked back at my mom. It wouldn't take long for them to find out who she was anyways, so it doesn't matter if I tell them.

We passed through security and headed towards the gate of our flight. We had some time to kill before we had to board the plane. When we got to the gate of our flight we found Louis, Eleanor, Harry and Niall waiting for us.

"We wanted to say one last goodbye before you left" Harry said as we walked up to them.

"Where's Zayn?" Natalie asked.

"I don't know. He left early this morning." Niall said.

"I've gotten to know you girls and it's hard enough saying goodbye to Louis all the time. Now I have to say goodbye to you ladies." Eleanor said as she started to tear up. My mom and I both went to hug her at the same time.

"We're going to miss you too El." I said to her.

"Wow. I never knew how emotional this could get." My mom said wiping a tear.

"Don't cry mommy number two!" Louis said hugging her. We all just laughed.

"Flight number seven seventy-three to America is now boarding."

"I guess it's time." Michelle said. We all gave each other one last hug before we gathered our things and started to board our plane.

"Wait!" I heard Liam yell. I turned around to see him running after me. Before I knew what was even happening our lips crashed together in a kiss. It was full of emotion and longing. Like we needed this to survive. Liam broke the kiss and pressed his forehead against mine.

"I hate goodbyes." He said pulling me as close as he could.

"Me too." I said. I started to tear up. "I better go. So I don't miss my plane."

"Ok." He said. He kissed me one last time. I was the one to break it and then I turned around and started walking towards the door to get on the plane. I felt his eyes on me, but I kept repeating to myself to not turn around because I knew if I did I wouldn't get on the plane.

I finally made it to where my mom and the girls were. I sat down in the window seat next to Natalie.

"Are you ok?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah. It's just hard to say goodbye, you know?"

"Yeah. At least your guy was here. Zayn didn't even show up." Natalie said.

"Yeah I know. I'm sorry about that by the way. It must suck that he didn't show." I said.

"It does. It's ok though." She said. After that I looked out the window as our plane took off.

It's about an hour into our flight. We're allowed to walk around now. I've just been looking out the window at the landscape. It's amazing how beautiful the land looks from way up high.

"Is anyone sitting here?" I heard a man ask. I didn't bother to look because I knew Natalie was next to me.

"Umm no go ahead..?" She responded. "Why are you changing seats in the middle of the flight?"

"Because I needed to see you." The voice said. I turned to look at who was sitting there.

"Oh my god!" Natalie gasped.

Hello my lovelies!! Here's a new chapter! I hope you like it! Sorry for the cliff hanger. I wanted to be a little evil. And sorry it's short. I will hopefully make a longer chapter before this book is over!! Lol

So who do you think the mystery man is? it's probably obvious but idk. Lol
