Is This the Right Decision?

Why am I feeling like this? I shouldn't be having such strong feelings for Liam. I know he said that he asked me out on an actual date but he has to go back to London soon and I live in America. That's going to be the longest long distance relationship EVER! It would be so hard to deal with. Being that far away from each other for that long. I wouldn't be able to handle that.

"Hey mom can I ask you something? I asked my mom walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah anything." My mom replied with her back facing me, still doing the dishes.

"Have you ever had a long distance relationship?"

She paused for a minute before she said anything. "Umm..not really. I didn't really date around much and we didn't have that great of technology where we could just get on the computer an video chat or anything. Why?"

"Well I think Liam has feelings for me but I'm scared to say yes if he asks me to be his girlfriend because he has to go back to London. I mean he lives there and I live here and it would be really hard being that far away from each other. I would love to say yes to him if he did ask but I don't think it would be the right thing."

"I say do what your heart tells you. If you have strong feelings for him and you feel like you guys could make it work then I say do it! You only live one life and you have to make the best of it."

"Yeah I know. I'm just afraid of getting hurt."

"If getting hurt is what makes you stronger then do it. Making mistakes and getting hurt is part of life. You just have to take it with full force and make the best of it."

"Yeah you're right! Thanks mom. I love you so much!"

"I love you too sweetheart."

We hugged for a few minutes before I heard the doorbell. I got up and went to see who it was.

"Hey Natalie!"

•*•*• Liam's P.O.V. •*•*•

"Hey where are you going?" Zayn asked me before I left to go to Sophie's. I have to ask her a question that I know is a risk but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

"I'm going over to Sophie's for something."

"Can I come with? I know its not the best thing but everyone is out with somebody and since El came to stay with us for our last day here I feel really alone because Louis isn't here to hang out anymore."

"Yeah sure." I couldn't say no. That would hurt him. He has already had to much hurt with his and Perrie's break up and I don't want to add to it.

"Thanks man!"

We walked out to my car and drove to Sophie's.

"So Michelle has told me everything! How are you guys doing?" Natalie can just be too into somebody's business sometimes. No wonder her and Michelle are so close.

"We are fine. And we're not dating ok."

"Ok but I would like to point out that someone who takes someone else out on a date is called dating."

"Yeah you're right but he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend or anything. I want him to but at the same time I don't."

"Why!?"

Before I could say anything I heard the doorbell again. Natalie and I just sat in my room listening to see who is at the door.

"Soph!? Someone's here for you!" I heard my mom yell from the door. Who could be here for me?
