Sneaking Around

I opened my eyes once I heard the door close. I sat up and looked around. I saw that Sophie was gone. I figured she had just gone to get some food. I was getting ready to go back to sleep when I heard voices outside the door. I got up to see what was going on. I looked through the peep hole to see Sophie and Liam sitting on the floor talking.

"Ok. Friends?" I heard Liam say.

"Friends." Sophie said in return and then they both hugged.

"Why don't you go home and get some sleep and then call me when your are on your way here. You need some sleep." Sophie said to him once they pulled apart. Liam replied and then gathered is belongings. They both walked down the hall towards the elevator. I backed away from the door wondering what they were talking about. I mean obviously they made up if they are friends but what was the explanation he gave her? Whatever I'll ask Sophie later. I went to the bathroom and then went back to sleep. I wasn't ready to be up yet.

"SHIT!" I opened my eyes and looked around to see what was going on. I looked over to find Sophie's mom searching angrily through her bag.

"Is everything ok?" I asked her.

"No. I forgot my phone charger!" She said giving up on her search.

"Well I'm sure we can get you one." I told her trying to calm her down.

"Yeah I know. I'm just mad that I left without it." She said. Suddenly I heard the door open and then Michelle walked into the room. I looked over to see Sophie finishing up her breakfast while watching the T.V. "How long has everyone been up"

"I got up really early this morning and then went to get breakfast. When I came back up Michelle was putting on some shoes. She said she was going to get some food. My mom woke up about 20 minutes after Michelle left." Sophie explained.

"Oh." I said.

"Well I'm going to go get ready." Sophie said standing up. She put her plate back on the tray she had and set it outside of the door before she went into the bathroom to get ready.

Finally everyone was dressed and ready for the day except for Sophie. Sophie's mom just left and we were waiting for Sophie to finish so we could figure out what we were going to do today. Michelle and I heard a phone ring. She got up and answered Sophie's phone with a disgusted look just as Sophie walked into the room.

"What do you want Liam!?" Michelle said into the phone. Sophie protested that everything was fine, but Michelle wasn't listening to her. Finally Sophie yelled to get Michelle's attention and Michelle gave her her phone back. Sophie talked to Liam and then hung up. She grabbed her room key and started to walk towards the door.

"Since when did you two start talking again?" I asked her to see if she'd tell me anything.

"Since this morning. I'll explain everything later I really have to go." Sophie responded before she rushed out of the door.

"What was that all about?" Michelle asked.

"I don't know. All I know is that Sophie and Liam made up this morning but they are 'just friends' " I said to Michelle.

After about five minutes of talking about what we were going to do today, because we didn't know where Sophie was, we heard a knock at the door. I got up and looked through the peep hole. I saw two guys in sunglasses and hoodies.
